Congratulations, Kate. Stanford Women's Basketball continues to be in good hands. My wife and I will continue to renew our season tickets-- now going on 40 seasons (pre-Tara)!
I was there in 2011 with the Ogumike sisters, Jeanette Pohlen, Kayla Peterson, Sarah Boothe, in Indy. They lost to Texas A&M with less than 1 minute to go and they were leading by at least two field goals. Texas was pressing and Stanford could not break the press, Chiney was fouled out on a questionable call. At the hotel Tara was on the phone with someone and very upset, she thought this was her last shot with a very loaded team. I think that’s when she thought of retiring the first time. I wish Kate well, but it’s going to be a very tough haul, talent has a lot of other places they can be.
Great university, great program, awesome new head coach!!
Can't wait till you come play at Syracuse!! Bummed it won't be next year, but we will be there!

Big shoes to fill. Good luck
Stop using "foxhole", its a game not a war....you have never been in a foxhole.
Unfortunately for her all that Stanford talent is gone, and they about to get beat down in a better conference of ACC
