Thanks dude, much appreciated haha. I wish I could have gotten more shots but I ended up crashing the drone into a larger waterfall after these flights... got the drone and gopro soaked. I dunked them in a bag of rice when I got home and tested them again today: both are working just fine! I lucked out there lol
I enjoy watching you videos! I have a bunch of hobby drones and a P3, but this really looks fun. What's the cost to get started in this? Is there a good source to go to to learn what I need? I live in Western, MA.
Thank you ^^ it's about $1500 to get started with FPV goggles, a racing drone, at least 3 lipo 4S batteries (really you'll want 10+) and smart charger, and a transmitter, and a gopro hero 4. You can save money by getting an older gopro or different action cam, cheaper fpv goggles or a FPV monitor, building your own drone, but still looking at $1000 minimum. An AT9 transmitter works great with the helipal "storm racing drones" and you'll need plenty of electrical tape and zip ties. Also knowing how to solder will help in repairs. Best of luck mate!
The RC signals on these are pretty strong, and I did not go farther than 100 yards away from me any any given time, so there was plenty of power for FPV
Daily Drone FPV I'm running an immersion RC 600mw to DominatorHD2 but haven't had the balls to fly over canopies. Just through a couple of trees the FPV signal is gash. Nice flying 👍
Are you still running the stock tuning on the SRD 250 V3? i have the same quad and am just learning to fly FPV in angle mode...have not gotten the courage yet to fly acro...lol... Good video's, you come a long way in a short time...
I did some stabilized line of sight for a couple of flights, then I dove into FPV angle mode. After doing that for a few weeks a started trying ACRO and I've been doing acro ever since :) good luck with your progress
I am putting together an article called "100 Places To Fly Before You Die" for the web site Toms Guide (www.tomsguide.com), and I wanted to include this video. Would that be okay with you? Thanks in advance, Richard Baguley for Toms Guide

Haha thanks, yeah I wouldn't recommend it, one slip and you can say good bye to your gopro! lol
Daily Drone FPV lol you arent lying.. 💪😂💪😂

Holy cow!!
Is that a good or bad exclamation? heh cheers mate
good, I am amazed at what people can do with these amazing machines
Thanks mate :) they are pretty amazing models
This was cool ... coming from a hiker and lover of nature. You went really low underneath some branches above water. pretty daring mate.

Oh wow...glad the great old rice worked. I lost 2 gopros myself and several airplanes over the years. Part of the hobby I guess :)
I like.👈
Thanks dude, much appreciated ^^

Surprised you didn't loose signal over the trees like that.

Thanks mate, yeah I'm still running stock tuning, but with bullnose props
I tried several props, 3, 4 blade and bn....but I find the stock 6 x 3.5 work the best for the storm tuning. Did you start acro line of sight or fpv?

Thanks and keep up the great videos....

thanks for the quick reply mate! I'll check it out :)
You're very welcome! Good luck buddy
