What Coldplay Taught Me About Pop Music

What is 'Real Music'? It's a silly term isn't it? However, Coldplay are a huge band, who also get a lot of flak. Even I used to think of their music as inauthentic.
In this video I discuss my experience with 'A Head Full of Dreams', as well as continue my exploration into debut albums. Did you know 'Parachutes', was recorded using a lot of live takes onto analogue equipment? With Coldplay over their career seemingly using the whole spectrum of recording techniques, I feel like this band's discography actually gives us a good indication to feel out, where exactly does a song stop sounding 'authentic' to us.
