I have a PrevailPro P4000 laptop, mainly using it for Rhino. Now I’m thinking of upgrading from Keyshot 8 to 9. You’re saying GPU rendering with your P3000 is up to 5 times quicker.... I like that ;-)
Hi Richard, thanks for watching our video. Depending on your hardware choosing GPU render can make a noticeable improvement to render times. I noticed some small differences in the final images when comparing GPU vs CPU renders but as mentioned in the description of this video was made with pre-release versions of KeyShot 9 and the differences should be less noticeable in the shipping version. Differences such as these shown can be seen in other rendering software when comparing CPU v GPU renders.

I don’t understand why the end result for renders in gpu and cpu should be different? Surely it’s all about numbers and getting render done ...
