As a mum of my last child this week flying the nest and going off to Uni it brings saddness and joy all rolled into one. Happy for them and their next chapter in life, new chapter in our life too so i completely understand all the emotions you are going through. Hope Izzy has a wonderful time on her personal journey, and you too have a bit more time to pursue more for you 👍
Rain is in the forecast for the next few days. The air has got a touch of Fall in it, and nighttime temps are cooler. The best honey is local honey if you can find it. I personally like Manuka honey. The nursing staff in the care home, used it on my aunt's bed sore, and due to it's antibacterial properties it really helped in healing the sore.
Just dropped my only child (daughter) off to a Uni in Surrey. It’s on one beautiful campus with everything mostly onsite. A journey of 274 miles from home. Have been dreading the sad feelings that I know I will have when I get back home tonight. You did help when you put it in context of being back by December, so it’s not forever and the next terms are at least a bit shorter. Hope your daughter settles in well.
We have now taken my Grandaughter to Swansea uni .. study osteopathy .. we had to condense quite a bit and bring a lot home .. separate containers for the fridge for Izzy’s food with her name .. as one fridge between 6 students Xxx
I’m not a huge honey fan personally, but I do keep it in for baking and even for making some of my own beauty products. Manuka honey is known to be the best quality honey you can get. It has higher antioxidant and anti inflammatory benefits than any other because of the specific compound it contains, which I think is called Methylglyoxal. Or at least something very similar to that spelling 😂
I think it might take a while for you to realize Izzy is away. Because you are kind of used to Izzy staying away with your dad a lot for school. But I'm sure your emotions will be up and down.
Thank you Imo I'm sure your all getting exited for your new adventures to come .xx
I think we are all happy to be holding parties like we used to. Cheers

What is the legal age there for drinking alcohol? In U.S. it’s 21
It’s 18 here. I do believe it’s much younger for drinking at home?
