The first (and only) soccer game I ever played was _FIFA International Soccer,_ released by EA Games in 1993 for the Sega Genesis. It was my first sports video game and my first introduction to soccer. I remember playing it a decent amount, though I had no idea what the rules were... and I still don't! 😆

@@onurataasar You know full well that Americans call the game "soccer" and we don't say, "American football." That term is both unnecessary and redundant in America.
The official titles of the games I mentioned in the OP were called _FIFA International Soccer_ and _Madden NFL [National Football League] 97._ Both games have Wikipedia entries under those names.
I am using the correct names for each sport. If you call each sport by a different name in your part of the world, that's fine by me. I don't care what you call them and I'm not going to shame you for international cultural differences by saying you're "confused" if you call soccer, "football."
These replies are as childish as a British person making a fake correction on "color" because they spell it, "colour*" across the pond.
Ahh, very nice! The only game I really remember playing on Sega was road rash back in the day 😜 FIFA 2001 and winning eleven 7 were my first soccer games! Good times haha, those games were the best!
