Anyone: But they all are the same
Paradox: But with United South America you can core British Honduras but you can not with Unites South America
Im pretty sure they made this DLC a giant middle finger towards "Formables A-Z" youtubers
Honestly i would be fair but "Greater Argentina" being able to take all of their historical claims to form Rio de La Plata or like Chile not being able to call itself the "Great Pacific State" after owning all Pacific states is wild.
With one exception being Chile which has france as formable and unite both americas except half of argentina
Ps. did a bit of testing and it turns out that in reality, Mapuche path gives you ability to core all of America, whole Polynesia and Portugal, since if u create a Puppet (with decisions u get from Crusade Against Imperialism focus) then that Puppet has all cores of country that is puppeted (for example, if Brasil has united with Portugal and then united whole South America, then puppet created using decision for puppeting Brasill, that Brasilian puppet will also core Portugal and whole South america), and when u annex those Puppets using Unified by Will focus, you get all ur puppets cores.
You can't forget South America. But without the Pacific that one is really unique!! Good on you paradox for making an even shittier South America clone
At least the kingdom of Chile (the fascist one) was a breath of fresh air. Having a United South America makes sense but not for almost every single path. A greater Argentina would be a lot cooler. But sadly paradox had to pander to their most annoying players 😔
This man is slightly sane
Yes
No
Slightly?
*Allegedly slightly sane
Sejo is definitely hiding that he has lost his sanity.
I never did that
The "Orélia" Bolivia is when you conquer and puppet Bolivia as monarchist Chile
Why the name thought
@@henryszytko9142no clue haha
Chile again
@@henryszytko9142 Wikipedia suggests it may mean "golden place", which sort of makes sense because gold is "oro" in Spanish
I have no idea how it correlates to Bolivia though
@@czechslovakian It’s about the Potosi mine. Bolivia was so rich in silver that it accounted for a big percentage of all silver in the world, like 20% They had gold too but not the ridiculous amount of silver. Kind of the same thing as Argentina. Argentina is named after the Roman word for silver. Except Argentina has everything except silver.
I remember when paradox tried to make their alt history focuses realistic, all these goofy as hell formable nations in the dlc are something a 14 year old would make after he discovered modding.
Yes
The concept of a ULASR has actually existed in South American political discourse. Many conservatives accuse left wing political parties of trying to form it. that's real look it up.
@internethardcase I assume you're talking about URSAL, no it isn't real, it's a joke nation someone made and a retarded conservative thought it was a real communist plot.
@@internethardcaseYeah, it would be fine if it was just for the communist paths and the Chilean fascist path, but it’s the ending for pretty much every single focus tree except for democratic Argentina and the Chilean paths.
You can form south america in 100 diffrent paths but you cant form mongol empire its just sad at this point
Democratic Russia is unrealistic, but Native American Americas are.😂
At least i'm not the only one waiting for a mongol empire formable update.
8:58 This is how the EU formable should work
Honestly it make sense that the Democratic version of the King has different modifiers, as the King doesn't have to deal with ministers.
There's like, three interesting paths between every country in this DLC, and the rest are copies of each other
Interesting ones are: Native Chile, Napoleon chile, Empire or Brazil and Fourth Reich, everything else is either boring or just copy paste
@@sejozwak those were the ones I was thinking of too
How do you feel about the fact that you now have to restart the max core population series?
It might be easy since most of the formables are just coppy pastes of each other
Only thing I have to do is die.
There’s no escaping Chile
I ain't Muslim but I think Ramadan is the only thing that's keeping this man sane
Probably
Can't belive they made Red Flood seem sane
It feels overwhelming to have so many diferent unite South America formables
I literally discovered Orélia in my playthrough a few days ago. I was playing through the Chile monarchist path. Basically I took the focus that gives puppet wargoals on Bolovia, Paraguay, and Uruguay. I puppeted bolivia after conquering them and they turned into Orélia. Idk what the significance is but its kinda cool i guess. It was a nice addition to the goofy roster of puppets you get in that path.
The fact you can core all of L'America but not all of Hispanic America as some Bolivar larper or something feels weird
These videos make me think that the different focus trees were made by separate people with no communication with each other
1:47 this really nice color is copy of Peru-Bolivia color in KR
2:18 what is wrong with this? I feel like small formables like this and Guiana Federation should be formable by the AI
9:36 maybe this is for a future Bolivia tree, who knows why it is in the game now though
What is wrong with it is the fact AI until now couldn't form formables if you play on Historical, if you play on Non Historical it can, I don't want AI randomly forming some formables and not forming other ones just because Paradox forgot to paste the stolen code into one file instead of creating a new one
And yeah, for the first thing you mentioned, this DLC was INSANELY inspired by mods, to the point its pathetic
The color in KR is actually the color in their flag
@@simon133000 interesting, I did not know that
Least insane HOI4 player:
bruh why is every formable about uniting the whole fucking continent 🙄... at least give it some fucking historical background, let THE SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES REUNITE FORMER SPANISH AMERICA WITHOUT BRAZIL
xD ikr, all the names are super innacurate as well, Hispanic meaning Brazilian, Latin not meaning Mexican, this DLC is a joke
Like its not even a bug at this point like a missing state or something, it's just complete rip off

Formables not getting cores right away but instead needing to take time to integrate them makes more sense, so that’s not really a bad thing.

can you do gameplay /tutorial on getting the hoofin it achievment as saudi arabia + forming arabia?
Bro, I made a 20k subs special video where I unlocked 35 Achievements in one run, including those two
ua-cam.com/video/pwl2RBznyQs/v-deo.html
it is a long one tho
I remember when the dlc launched ULASR would give claims instead of cores
we shouls get a formables tierlist based on apperance, formability and core population
nice idea for some more slop, thank you my guy
@@sejozwak no provlem i love slop
My man exposing Paradox for the 1000000000th time.
Nothing against you Sejozwak, but it is so funny how gringos complain about this DLC being too "ahistoric" when there already exist USA communism, Ottoman restoration, false Romanov and bear king, but just because gringos don't know about South American history, they think everything is just impossible XD
Anyway, Orelia is a reference to the first king of Araucania and Patagonia, Orelie Antoine fe Tounens, back in the 1850s-60s. To be created you have to go through the monarchy path and realize Bolivia as a puppet, and it gets renamed as Orelia. When I found it messing with commanda it was so funny I laughed for a while XD immediately send it to my historian friends.
Brother I'm more of a latino than gringo, issue is that all these formables are bugged... Latin America formable not coring Mexico, Hispanic formable coring Brazil, South America formable having goofy ahh formables etc
@@sejozwakBosnia belongs to Brazil confirmed?
@@braziliantsar Other way around, we will git you
Man I'm glad i pirated this dlc
XD goated
based same
So many formables in one continent.
Also, I hope Paradox could rework the focus tree of Germany.
"Reino de la patria nueva" means "kingdom of the new fatherland"
Also "Patria Nueva" is an old name for the Chilean State. Basically, the first liberation from the Spanish (Patria Vieja) was retaken by Spanish aligned forces from peru (Reconquista) and later, new groups of liberators associated to San Martin and the Lautarin Lodge expelled the spanish aligned forces and made a new government, from where came the modern Chilean State. (There's a bit more complex relationships but that's the gist of where the name comes from)
ey bro how u been doing u seem tired? I hope u feel better also I suggest u post more shorts for ur channels health
Why would I post shorts?
views means more channel growth@@sejozwak
shorts are getting crap views and crap subs @@azathothog
I think AI automatically forming Nation is actually good for the game. I mean there are some countries who just literally take all the required territories. rather than formed the nation they take resistance heat.what paradox can do make all country which can form yeah I also from it.
Nah you don't get it, do you? I like it too, but it shouldn't happen, when you play on historical, AI never forms formables, and now it will form but only these four, its inconsistent and stupid
I agree. They are too many formables nations that doesn't change from one to the others and some feels like some mod whacky sh*t and not vanilla. Don't get me wrong I like formable nations, but not whacky ones !
My man does not have a life, thank you for your service
1:11 its banana colored and shaped vaguely like a banana, what’s not to love?
Another Sejozwak W
i dont know if this counts but galapagos regime can form as a result of peru beating ecuador
yeah I didn't wanna include it
Brazil can core all of Latin America.
Turkey can core all of Arabia and the Balkans.
Britain and Canada can core the United States.
But the US can't get cores on Canada.
While I have mixed feelings about this DLC can we talk about the fact that nobody gives a shit about Bolivia changing its government? I mean imagine if each time when a random country changes its government triggered an event (no pls don’t, I‘m just joking). But now for real, if I had to choose between a hypothetical event of Stanley Baldwin retiring in favor of Chamberlain or Bolivia I would choose the former considering the importance of the UK. If they still have to include this event, or several Chilean events, Wannabe China 4, 5 and 6 joining the „Chinese United Front until Japan is defeated then Civil War“ they could introduce a system in which only countries in a specific region get to see minor events.
Actually, if I'm not mistaken, some mods already have that system. You can click on a decision which makes a lot of non-local pup-ups dissapear. Or you can just disable all minor pop-ups and leave only important ones on. I think it was either EAW or OWB who did that
did your mic get better?
I got a headset and its better
Why is it bad that the AI will try to make formable nations if it has the requirements? Also, I did a Paraguay run. You can have serious manpower issues if you don't puppet Brazil and maybe Argentina and then integrate them afterward. But I had fun.
I feel like this "36 way to unify the continent" would be more fitting for Europe, as it is where the game is centered and could serve as a reward for being the only one left standing more than a goal on itself. (it would also be more realistic than a south american country just conquering everyone out of nowhere)
Europe is more diverse than South America
@@sejozwakmore diverse XD
Bro does not know how many wars we had since independence
@@simon133000 it is, we hate each other
@@simon133000Yeah it is. The only reason South America has enormous diversity is because of european migration.
Also i forgot to mention
>Latam DLC
>No LATAM pricing
Costs over 10 thousand pesos to buy this DLC, thats the cost of an average full price game, or half an AA Title.
Meanwhile, there is a mod that did everything this DLC does, much better than them. "En Union y Libertad", made by actual Southamericans, and it actually does have north-andes/gran colombia nations.
ALSO THATS ANOTHER THING. 36 FORMABLES AND NO GRAN COLOMBIA? WTF.
Ikr, welcome to hoi4, no wonder why so many people pirate
Gran Colombia is already in game bro
And yes, I know about the mod, I was thinking about making a video pointing that out but Im not sure, Paradox might ban me from HOI4 if I do that
Sejo is literally me ( we are insane )
based
I did the Argentina legionaria as Perón so Im pretty sure you dont need to go for the fascist subpath
How’d we go from AAT to this? Not a bad dlc but definitely not worth it. Could’ve at least added a new mechanic like every other DLC. Only reason I bought it is because I liked the look of Chile and I really like Argentina
Honestly, AAT, was mid due to bugs, then the bugs were fixed, then it was turned into mid again in a patch where they restricted multiple formables, this however...
@@sejozwak The bugs were annoying and it did make the dlc a lot worse, but it was a lot better after they got rid of them. I don’t really care about the formables, one’s enough tbh.
This DLC is so edgy and they didn’t even added focus trees to all South American nations. At this point I’ll just play rt56
sorry for your loss
Did you Know that Bulgarian leader isnt anymore the youngest now it is leader of rapanui if rapanui gains independence after the Chilean civil war has started
yes true
When we will get Balkan rework!?
It takes too much PP to core all the stuff...
yeah
Do you ever wake up and realize you are talking about formable nations in a supermarket?
I don't want to wake up
@@sejozwak Just keep running so the monster doesn't catch you.
6:24 it’s URSAL, it’s a meme and it’s represented by a care bear with a hammer and sickle so it’s also a pun on the word for bear. Some Bolsonarists took it seriously during the 2022 election, basically making it a conspiracy theory.
XD
The URSAL theory has been a thing before Bolsonaro even entered politics. Considering the Foro de São Paulo, it's clear that once the leftists latin american parties actually wanted it to happen. Nowdays, it's impossible.
You form Orelia by puppeting it as French Chile
Kurdish core vps in game are still using unused Kurdish names. Imagine that. I reported official names to pdx but they still didnt update those with official Turkish names.
1:54 no you dont Peru has core on that state from start of the game
I formed it as Bolivia bro
@@sejozwak oh ok
did pdx fix european union not coring Pyrénées-Atlantiques?
After about 4 years, believe it or don't, they actually did
bro casually forgot a formable and now we need to search for it
yes
@@sejozwakdw my friend, from the name its gotta be all of the Spanish speaking nations so it's probably a Spanish or latam formable when you have spain and all American territories except for Canada, US, Brazil and the Guyanas. But knowing paradox they maybe did something ludicrous like adding the Philippines or forgetting Mexico or some stuff like that
👍
with lampião as leador of Brazil you cant core the rest of south america :(
You sure about that? I did it last night, no way they removed it ffs
Checked all of the comments. Nobody seems to give a fuck about Hispanic Empire.
Fair enough
Great, now Latin America has more content than the entirety of Axis
Hi, I'm a psycopath.
I mean naval is much more fun than slogging through no supply, me thinks.
Naval is fun in other games
@@sejozwak frankly, I wish someone would mash HoI4, Rule the waves, and Ultimate Admirals together for one naval management game.
... Meanwhile I wait, I'll be spending hours on exceling a IC effective navy together. :D
You don't like Trial of Allegiance?
Not exactly
This DLC makes me angry as a Chilean because of the garbage that is the Ibañez tree.
Its just the dumping ground for the meme paths some paradox intern thought up, possibly trying to copy the (better, and with more content) existing southamerica mod "en union y libertad"
For those who dont know: Ibañez was the dictator/president of Chile in the early 30s, after breaking the country out of an oligarchical period of government. However his government was populist and the economy depended on saltpetre (nitrate) exports and thus he wasnt able to save the economy when the gread depression happened so he just went "adios!" and quit. The country had a small anarchy period with 3 socialist republics, interim governments and coups until the supreme court was given control by the army and an election placed ibañez rival, alessandri, in government.
From 1933 to a few months into the game (june 1936), the country had a milita **3 times the size of the standing army** just set up to prevent any coup/revolution.
The fact that this isnt at least partially modelled by paradox is ludicrous. Chile looks like its going to explode with a light breeze and they dont even go into detail as to why. There's no references to the socialist attempts in 1932. The socialist trees and formables are just copypasted from modern day ideological discourse (especially the Brazil formable which is just a rename of UNASUL and the Chilean indigenous wild ride which isnt really based upon anything other than modern-day indigenismo, at the time it would be much more likely that it would be an insular, self contained movement for independence and not for liberation, though at least paradox was tasteful enough to make it non-alligned, most indigenous movements of the time were fiercely conservative.)
EDIT: Also the Bolivia cosmetic tag "orelia" is just a play on the fact that Bolivia is named after the liberator Bolivar. Its a nonsensical rename, as is the entire monarchist Chile path.
So it had to do something with Bolivar, makes sense, btw Bolivar was the Goat the GOOAAAT
The people who made the dlc would probably fail a South America blank map quiz
Honestly as Chilean, I loved it, they put so much research for this one
@@simon133000pero mira lo que le hicieron a Carlitos Ibañez po.
Lo redujeron a un meme path donde vale más el Frances Loco que el tipo que 5 años antes había sido el dictator-presidente del país.
I think the problem is there’s nothing really interesting to be a possible formable in South America. There’s various historical unions like Peru-Bolivia, but most players are going to want to conquer much more than that. South America is pretty small so anything less than conquering the whole continent doesn’t feel like enough. So that only leaves them with a united South America and a further united Latin America (plus other colonies for nice borders).
And they’re basically trying to give a little flavor to it based on the country that formed it, instead of every country just forming “the Republic of South America” or whatever. Emphasis on *trying* though. A lot of those were definitely just minor wording variations and separate formables for each ideology for some reason.
URSAL doesn’t change name when you switch ideologies because you’re not *supposed* to switch ideologies at that point, that formable is meant to specifically be “communist Latin America formed by Brazil”.
They could give some formables Iberian cores, but no, only kingdom of brazil and portugal cores portugal, they also could have made cores more consistent, but no
Sleep!
Hell no
Pay $20 to paint South America in different colours
15 tho
O brazil se unir com o resto da América do sul não faz sentido
This DLC makes no sense, only one that makes sense is maybe URSAL
