Mods are a lifesaver! Without mods we can't enjoy the game as much. Sims 4 does have great graphics I have developed many crushes on Sim townies lol however Sims 2 had great graphics as well and Sims 3 graphics were creepy in my opinion.

You said it! I like the Sims, all of them, but I'm not gonna cry a river if someone else doesn't! And you know what, I'm pretty happy with Sims 4 right now. It used to be that every couple of months, I would have to reinstall my entire game from scratch because it was too buggy/glitchy otherwise. Or there would be all these weird limitations, like you could put a door on a diagonal wall, but sims would never use it if you gave them a door to the same room on a regular wall, even if they had to walk out of the house and then back in to get there! Oh, and like waaaaay back in Sims 1, the stove malfunctioned if it was on a second floor overhanging a pool! It's so cool not to have to deal with that crazy stuff.

I tried og Sims when it came out, but our boxy desktop couldn’t handle it - took irl hours for the sim to pee 😂 Sims 2 was a joy - I bought a laptop for the first time! I skipped Sims 3 for some reason - life was busy. Didn’t pick up Sims 4 until 2018 or 19. Missed out on it’s rough launch, really enjoyed it in that sandbox way. Swore I would always play vanilla until I bought Parenthood and those damn kids started making messes CONSTANTLY. Now am heavily modded! GET OFF MY LAWN!
yeah, those who played sims 4 at the beginning had it pretty rough, well at least some of them because a few might have hop onto the game before even playing the other games like sims 2 or sims 3, so they were probably not aware of the lack of depth sims 4 had. i played sims 1 and sims 2 and when I hopped on sims 4, i didn't think to compare it as I figured times has changed and it was a direction they wanted to take. either way, i enjoy the sims 4. haha. i enjoy every $1000 worth of it. hahaha. The goal was for this video to be slightly satirical but that didn't work out. haha. I hope it was entertaining to watch tho. lol.
i don't need open world but I would like for each neighborhood within each world be accesible without loading screen. like if i'm in an apartment, i should be able to visit neighbors without a loading screen. or i would like to go visit a neighbor in the same neighborhood without a loading screen but I can only imagine how much lag that could bring and if that's even doable for console players.
The cost for kits and packs really limits how much I can do and I hate that the packs are 39.99. It's hard for people don't have that kind of money to spend
To be fair, the game makes us "grow up" to be resistant problem solvers LOL. I have never played one session, without something irritating about the game, which made it basically unplayable. It's just fascinating to me, how much concentration I can invest in this game VS IRL life :P I don't understand the nitpicking of the community sometimes, I enjoy it to the fullest, hence I don't regret paying money for keys. (the accumulated full-price is bonkers, never buy those) Modders bring so much life into it and I quite enjoy, looking for pretty things for my Sims♥
CC shoppping, because it's actually a thing, is my favorite part. I like planning for a wedding and going CC shopping for wedding stuff. I like the complete control and chaos that comes to sims 4. I am always up for the challenge haha.

I did it once last time, to receive the simoleons for the heritage call. My bride took a hike at Mt. Komorebi to find fireflies. She was SO FAR AWAY I had to spawn my Sim there and do a secret wedding 😅
I love the game. But it's really broken and the chaos comes when it just doesn't work. Funnily enough that's when I get the most enjoyment over how stupid the AI is. Like weddings don't work because Sims are stupid. So I turn off autonomy and work around that. But sometimes I use a mod that reinstates base game weddings. We don't talk about Star Wars but some build buy is okay and it has some nice CAS I use like the boots and I bought it on sale. Cottage Living doesn't always work either. 3 times out of 4 the Finchwick Fair won't work for me. I've never completed the ribbons ever. The base AI is again too stupid to stop the mayor's traits overriding their role as a judge. Patchy also steals your plants sometimes. It's a mixed bag but I really love the game despite its abundant bugs and flaws.
The lack of gameplay is what delayed me from buying The Sims 4. I waited four years because when I saw that there were no toddlers, pools or ghosts. I remember the community in 2014 being in an uproar. I liked the graphics -- it's a big improvement to me over The Sims 3. But it was not enough for me to buy The Sims 4 immediately. yeah, i didn't buy the sims 4 until a few years after its released since I was all about that sims freeplay and i knew I didn't have a machine that could play the sims 4 considering I didn't even have a machine that could handle sims 3 at the time.
i love love love the sims. but bro when it lags, takes 1,000,000 years to load, burns my legs and have that neglection for ur kids makes me have that tiny grudge on it. but all together the sims is great! all i want is were my sims automatically check on there kids a lot and cars. and that's it. it will probably never happen! but yeah- So all them 5 yrs of me playing sims 4 it's alr i started when i was 9 and haven't gave up!

one time i tried an expiernejt kn what hapoens when you add the reaper to the household wnd keep the grim reaper cheats on i lilled a papparzzi and there was another freaker grim
yup!! another grim will generate if there is a death near by. so what i like to do is avoid being in that household when there is a death. a lot of the times, I like to add the grim family to other save files so I can play with other families while be able to see my reaper family do their reaper duties when they're called. :) it's awesome.
