I was hoping for the glass door version like the one in FSX. That makes the Maule unique looking from all the other bush planes. And, of course, you can see more scenery while in the cockpit view. I do hope the dev will make such a version. Until then I am not interested in this version.
That's my one niggle, no glass door. Nose still looks a bit odd but its a real version.
Maule owner here since 2002. Maule changed that door handle design years ago. I don’t think they modeled the rudder boost tab yet.
Gives fond FSX memories. Where my FSX Maulers at! ?
Another great review. Thumbs up given. Unfortunately for me I purchased this aircraft from The Marketplace and Asobo hasn't offered this update to it's buyers yet. Hopefully they will get around to it soon.
They should soon I hope.
If the pitch and roll are a little twitchy, go into controls and lower the pitch and roll sensitivities. I do the same when those problems exist. Also, nice job on all your vids. Have a great day.
I tried that fix and it helps a little with the Maule, but then it has the same effect (unwanted) on all the other 274 aircraft I have in my hanger, soooo not really a good fix. It's better to petition the developer to correct it in the flight model.
@@DarthPlaya to avoid that, make a separate profile for the planes you mainly fly. There are some aircraft that will accept the same profile as others.
Thanks for the tips!
looks like it is coming along..
I bought it originally, and quit flying it because of the porpoising at slow speeds. Not fun to land. It is definitely better.
Realistic Maule ;-)
This aircraft looks awesome..
Please help a FS beginner but long time Maule pilot. Is this the same one that's in the 'Store' option on MSFS 2020? I really want something with steam gauges and a Garmin 430. Thank you!
Great video, what is that weather modification app you use?
Which airfield was this flown? Where? Thxs.
Hi AvAngel, how are you? Could you perhaps tell me which float planes feel the best? Only if you have the time. Many thanks!
The Big Radials Goose, the Bagalou 172 on floats, the Wilga and imho, beave.
Starting Trackir later (whilst inflight, actually) worked somewhere in the first 2 years of flightsim2020, then some kinda update broke it... (as i seem to forget that alot too, hahaha) Nice to see you using Flow Pro as well. The FSX version of the Maule (with the big glass panels) appealed to me, whereas this version, without that added visibility from the pilot view, just doesn't. But that might be one of the other 234 versions as this is the M7-235. ;)
Sticking with my Husky aviat at the moment as favorite go-slow-go-anywhere-payware. Thanks for another great review!
Currently, I lose all controls after the programming is running for a while.
Your usb ports may be going to sleep
Stalls at 700 ft ? Rachel, thanks God for your background in medicine, I was about to have a heart attack! And please don't blame it on the benign stall dynamics of the Maule, I won't take it 😊 Yours Nick.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍😍😍😍👍
What addon are you using for Port Graham?
Thanks a lot AvAngel for this nice review ❤
You guys made some great improvements to it, Its a decent plane now :)
@@AvAngel thanks a lot , more updates are coming ;)
Am glad the plane is not Pitchy I hate Pitchy planes
I wanted to like this so much and was really looking forward to it but I'm still on the fence having watched this. The interior textures are never really shown in any of the review videos and I have a feeling they are pretty weak. Maybe if it is ever in a sale I will try it out but until then I will probably not bother.
They're decent enough, I like them myself.
I'm new to flight simulation and I am looking for some learning level planes with good excellent flight models to add to MSFS 2020, because X-Plane 12 just isn't good right now. Do you have a playlist of learning level aircraft you might recommend?
Carenado aircraft are good examples, but for stock ones, the 172, 152 and Diamonds.
@@AvAngel The stock planes are OK, but I really dislike when I can't click all the buttons! I'm thinking about spending some $$$ on 3rd party if they can take the simulation to the next level. So far Carenado look pretty good, but is that the best?
For my money - Black Box Bulldog, JustFlight Warrior or Aeroplane Heaven Chipmunk. Good flight models for learning and they are all classic training aircraft IRL. The Chipmunk doesn't have great sound, but it's my favourite to fly. They're all good though.
When you buy msfs you get aircraft..like xplane? But unlike xplane the aircraft you get are, in my opinion, higher quality. They still do not have doors that open, but they are better in so many other wats.
