Nice meeting you on the route and again back at Pedaler’s. I did the full bulldog and was in way above my head. A few weeks later and I’m already looking forward to next year!
You ran 34T and 10-52 Eagle. I ran 34T and 10-50 Eagle and felt I needed less on Puerco. I'm contemplating going to a 32T or even 30T chainring, but am concerned with not having enough top-end for day to day riding. Basically, I'm looking for a gearing setup for everyday gravel that could also work for Bulldog, if that's possible.

Good job! I can barely breathe at 183HR, but hey, I'm 62 now, and that 220-age thing doesn't apply...
The full route was steep AF going down from bull dog. I only crashed once and, thankfully, no one saw lol
If a gravel biker crashes in the wild , and no ones around …. Did he even crash? 😂
I also did the Puppy and also had my ass kicked and also walked a bunch and also got fooled by that gate. In addition, I had to emergency poop at the fire station at Piuma and Cold Canyon. I think it was just heat-related sickness from the exertion and sun on Puerco. Would I do it again? I don't know. The first half was beautiful. Maybe if it was overcast and/or 70deg or less.
Hahaha damn I haven’t had to do a field poop yet , but yea weather around 70 woulda helped but I still woulda hiked some of it
