This is exactly how I built my consultancy over a 5 year period! Now I'm in my own business full time and I don't think I would have been here otherwise. My career in Tech seriously set me up for success.
I completely agree with you Adama. My 9-5 has given me access into rooms that would have taken my personal brand a little longer to enter. It's all about using the opportunities present to you in each stage.
So many perks. Not just regarding healthcare services. FSA. They’re paying back my student loans. Paid for my bachelors. Reimbursing me for my grad degree. 401k match. I take advantage of everything. Paying certifications that plush my resume. When I’m ready to leave, it would have been a very reciprocal relationship.
I’m an interventionist at a school there’s no growth, only part time hours for that position and an hour commute and i come home drained from the kids. The reason i stay because the job market really do suck.
What if you want to change careers, you want to study, but the 9-5 does not involve what you’re interested in! And having a 9-5 means I won’t be able to go in preso to school! :/ In this case is it worth it or sacrifice the extra cash for time to study ? Idk
Just started working again in a 9-5 (medical field) after having some time off and currently finding the balance with content creation and my passions. ❤
That's true but a lot of these points don't require that such as skill buildin, networking and association. I also started this approach before I was making 6 figures. You work with what you have and build up 🤎
@@Michelle.1952 or it starts out with me being honest with my current position. I had to work my way up here. It may not be for everyone and if you feel my current position disqualifies me from the discussion that’s fair and you’re more than welcome to get the information from someone you believe is more in touch
I can still remember the exact feeling on my biggest payday in the market. Imagine taking home $407k just from 12k initial deposit. For the newbies I'll encourage anyone to embrace copytrade as the best approach especially when you're a newbie
I really want to learn how I can network and meet new people, I am a registry clerk and an economics student and I still can’t find people to network with. Maybe I am not being intentional with what I want, I need more advice on this.
My dream life involves me not working. I'm tired of being "on"...the kind of work I do is phone heavy which makes me so tired. I wish I could take this advice but I get so overwhelmed by being "on" for others. I'm working for 2 reasons: (1) student loans and (2) to buy property overseas.
Please ignore the yellow paint on the inside of my shirt 🥲🤎
Didn’t even notice until you mentioned it!
Artist life 🥲
Can't find 😂
Hi Adama, could you do a detailed video of the steps you took to get into IT from not having had previous experience?
This is exactly how I built my consultancy over a 5 year period! Now I'm in my own business full time and I don't think I would have been here otherwise. My career in Tech seriously set me up for success.
Thank you for sharing this so we have more examples of people building their own business this way! ❤️
Your voice is like warm butter. 😍 I legit had to go back and listen again because I got so distracted by your soothing voice. 😅❤
That's a beautiful compliment 💯
Warm butter is so accurate😂❤
"Warm butter"! That's one of the most flattering descriptions of my voice I've heard. Thank you 🤎
i feel like 9-5 are so villainised! if used correctly they can really get you to your dream life, thank you for this video X
They're honestly full of cheat codes. I realised a change in perspective with 9-5s will change your whole experience with them 🤎
My dad's 9-5 was his angel investor. ❤
Omg I didn’t even finish watching this video yet and I love it already
Genuinely a helpful video that helped me switch my perspective on my job. Thank you
Happy to hear it! You're welcome 🤎
This video is perfect timing because my 9-5 is making me miserable and I know the obstacle is the way but Jesus H Christ 😭
It'll definitely test you at times but take what you can from it and see the opportunities to get you to the next stage 🤎
I love your videos so much, it’s so inspiring. Love all the way from Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹
I appreciate it! 🤎🤎
Hello Trini 👋
I completely agree with you Adama.
My 9-5 has given me access into rooms that would have taken my personal brand a little longer to enter.
It's all about using the opportunities present to you in each stage.
Exactly this! ❤️
Amazing content, simple and straight to the point. Your voice is so smooth. Just suscribed 😊

An incredible video! Thank you for sharing♥️
Thank you!! It’s my pleasure 💕

Just started working again in a 9-5 (medical field) after having some time off and currently finding the balance with content creation and my passions. ❤
I'm glad you're finding time for it all 🤎
You have the most perfect cadence I could listen to you forever!
YES!❤
Thank you!!
Yes we can prevail! 🙏🏽
Of course!
Most 9-5s are not 6 figure though, unfortunately.
That's true but a lot of these points don't require that such as skill buildin, networking and association. I also started this approach before I was making 6 figures. You work with what you have and build up 🤎
Exactly. The video immediately starts out very tone deaf and out of touch.

I cannot express it enough how much I enjoy your videos. Thank you for this video and I agree let’s take advantage of a 9-5 job!
🤎🤎
❤❤❤❤❤
*I'm glad you made this video* it reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, $89k biweekly and a good daughter full of love..
I can still remember the exact feeling on my biggest payday in the market. Imagine taking home $407k just from 12k initial deposit. For the newbies I'll encourage anyone to embrace copytrade as the best approach especially when you're a newbie

Yup the association with working in highly respected organisations I have LEVERAGED.
You're someone who came to mind when I was thinking about this!
What tech job are you doing hon?! I'm having a hard time searching for a career being autistic!
I'm a site reliability engineer 🤎

So where do I find a 9-5?🤣
That’s another video all together 🥲
Bring it on!
I’ll follow you, just so I can see if when you make it
