yeah, most of the filipinos prefer having a white skin instead of their own skin color. I even asked my ate about it and she said its normal or something like that, but im different from them because i loved my kayummangi skin...*sighs* why cant just some of my kapwa filipinos especially my family be satisfied with their own skin color??

Mikey, this makes me so sad, but I believe how true everything is in this song... you need to be beautiful and light skin to be famous in the Philippines. Filipino mentality -don't go in the sun! You will get dark!... pretty much what I heard my entire life. It's hard to love the skin you're in when you know being "light is right" but we should all try to love the skin we are in! Filipino power!

+John Mark Suarez I was born there but yes many Filipinos migrate to Canada. Easier if you have family there na at mayroon ka ng sponsor din. To visit, yes, too if you show proof of ties to the Philippines and you have a history of traveling sa ibang bansa kahit sa Southeast Asia lang.
