Spot on brother(Evan FinchP)...i met Jack at The Louisiana in Bristol about seven years ago(he was touring his first album..BETWEEN THE MINDS(a little mellower)..we spoke about songwriting..he was and is a humble, lovely, giving human being who is so talented and very worthy of his success. On that night he told me NEVER to give up...and now, all those years later i have taken the plunge and become a songwriter...Jack was right...i found an equally beautifully talented young lady to write with..her first song is now online..BREATHE by JASMINE LAMPORT is mellow(can be googled)....THANKS JACK...you were right!!!....and you are deserved of your success and an ever-growing fanbase...frankly 28 people must be bonkers when they press the "dislike" on quality of this kind...love to know what their musical taste is...Jack Savoretti has music and great lyrics running through his veins.

I was in those formative years where I could have become anything my true love would have lead me to become. He courted me seriously, I thought, but all of a sudden it was over. It hit me like a truck. I stopped caring what happened to me after that. I'm just fortunate others claimed to love me and tried though I guess I never gave as much of my heart to them as i had given to you....
@Miranda yes you are right. It would not have ended well. I am more than happy single. I am not looking for a relationship. I know I am loved and valued and am not willing to let that go. I have good relationships with family, friends, and church families. I am still learning how to take good care of me and what God has given. Life is good. Thanks for your good advice, Miranda. Changes è solo l'ultima perla di questo fantastico e giovane cantautore,lo conosco da 2 anni ed ha scritto e musicato vere storie belle quanto tristi,belle quanto dolci,rabbiose e commoventi,gha scritto verità e scrive verità con sentimento,usa parole semplici e profonde che paradossalmente a volte diventano difficili nei significati,siamo davanti e sappiatelo sin da ora,ad un cantautore che farà la storia della musica e del sociale applicata ad essa per almeno 40 anni,è giovanissimo(30 anni) ed è di origini Italianissime Genovesi,suo nonno fu uno dei comandanti partigiani a supporto agli alleati che liberò Genova,ma non è questo,anche se m'inogoglisce da Italiano,è che scrive una canzone più bella dell'altra con parole e significati di storie quasi conoscesse tutti noi uno per uno,gia ora le i testi delle sue splendide ballate andrebbero spiegate ascoltandole hai giovani nelle scuole.
Ricodarevi e ve lo ripeto siamo davanti ad uno dei piu grandi cantautori usciti in questa nuova e tormentata epoca ma lui se ne distanzia raccontandola con le sonorità di un acustica anni 70,il possimo concerto non a caso precederà quello di un certo Neil Young(da lui voluto esplicitamente),e non fermatevi alla sola "Changes",sarebbe molto riduttivo per Lui e per chi sta imparando a conoscerlo.

I love this song, My life has so many changes. I lost my husband at 48. Then I keep having premonition of my brothers death over and over, I found him just as I saw it. That was so hard we were like twins. It took me a couple of years to even date. But then a guy I dated 35 years ago keep sending me messages on Facebook. I ignored him for weeks. But I finally wrote him back found out he lost his wife to cancer. From the moment we meet we were together 24/ 7. I told him I was moving to Myrtle Beach just for a year. Plane fair was only 59 dollars we could have traveled back and forth. But he rented his house to his son. And moved to SC with me. I told him the first year was the hardest and he just retired and made me to. I was use to working. He listen to a women he went to school with. He was not thinking straight. He winded up buying property in TN with out looking at it. It was swamp in part of it and had so many trees and it was not level anywhere. Then he bought a house from the bank with out looking at he again. And brought more property. They had to build a flat service to put the house. The house was 40 miles away. It cost a fortune. And the house was bad it needed a lot of work and his back was so bad and it took him 2 years and he finally listen to me. Then his was losing weight and his moods we up and down. He was not my Bill. I thought it might be him grieving. And the pain he was in. He keep picking fight. We separated to both work on ourselves. He called me and asks if I would come home and help him when he had the surgery and he wanted me to move back home. Well it started a big fight and acted like I did something. He told me he never wants to talk to me or see me ever again, he blocked me from every. I finally emailed him and told him I miss him. I found out he was back in NJ 3 miles from me. He told me he had stage 4 cancer that spread to his brain. I wish he would have went to the doctors and got his yearly checkups maybe he they found it sooner it would not of spread. No I understand his mood swings. He would not let me to come see him. I just want one more hug and kiss. He hid this from me too. Every one knew but me, I emailed him and asks him to reconsider letting me say goodbye . He sad he looked like he just got Out of a concentration camp. We weight less than me and I am only 4”10. San to say I have a curse. I felt his energy gone. And I was right he passed away November 21st. And my Aunt who was like my mother passed away last week. So we moved to Tn to start our life over and had plans to get married. So the song brought all these memories up. About going thru CHANGES.I don’t talk about how I feel. So sorry for how long this was I need to vent.
