    Once the sled is loaded and ramp is in and strapped in how do you strap in the sled with the ramp blocking the tie down latches on the truck?

  • @andyassad2769
    @andyassad2769 2 роки тому +1

    If you push your sled to one side you can slide the folded ramp between the skis then lift you sled over top the folded ramp. It’s secure and it slopes your sled forward and is more stable in a small truck!

    Well done video, very informative and helpful. I like how you did the load of two types of vehicles to get the best idea of the product. Cheers!

      Its a great ramp. I sell sleds on the side and it works great when people show up with a truck and no trailer. And it works great when I go on trips by myself and meet people tor ide with.

    A
    Great video! Any issues strapping down your sled with the ramps in the bed of the truck? It seems like you might not be able to access the box tie down points on whatever side you might store the ramp.

      Just tie front or back to other side of truck

    Thnx for the video. Those look like nice ramps. Can you tell me the height of your tailgate? Trying to compare with mine.

    Nice video.
    I have the same Truck bed length. How far do you travel with your snowmobile extending off the tailgate like that? Does it cause any issue?

    Great product...is that the short bed version of the GM pick up? Just trying to get an idea as to scale. Thanks.

    Nice Video. What kind of damage do the Carbides do to the GMC Factory Bed Lining coating? I have a 2018 Sierra 2500 that I was considering putting a sled in the back of?
    Thanks. Andrew C.

      @@Fixin2Ride-Official- What guys? MIne? Yes it left a lighter mark which blended in just fine next time I washed it. If you worried about a little scratch in a liner that is designed to protect your bed I guess you would never use the bed of your truck for anything. It is a truck.

      @@gobigparts Okay.. Call the dogs off sassy, I'm just trying to make sure. I wouldn't want to dig through the liner to the metal. ;o) Plus my Truck is a 2018 GMC 2500 All Terrain 6.6 Turbo Duramax CC Standard Bed. Not trying to trash my $70k truck before the warranty is up! lol Figured I could through a back sled in the bed on trips when towing my sled trailer.

      @@Fixin2Ride-Official- Yesh, Not sure if you ever had experience with a linex liner but I am not sure you could drive a nail through it. They are very tough. The GM one shouldn't be much different I would hope. If ever super worried just cover up with a shet of ply wood before loading.

    How do you keep the carbides from tearing up the pan in the truck?

    • @gobigparts
      @gobigparts  4 роки тому

      I have a spray in bedliner so it's not an issue. I do cover the plastic cap on tailgate with a couple of door carpet mats when loading and unloading. Some guys will put wood down.

      Best way to save your box use a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood and I screw a 4 foot long 2x4 to one end of the plywood and it rests up against your tailgate. Works great.

    That’s a lot of sled hanging over. I would personally purchase a trailer. But the ramp does look heavy duty.

      I have a 27' inline trailer and love it. The ramp was more for the quad and sled if I was going up north by myself to meet up with friends. This year I didn't even use the ramp for my sled. I have 4 sleds in my trailer. I am using the ramp more for my KTM dirt bike now.
