Wow, sorry missed this. I've been following you so long, I don't even know now. 10k videos is crazy!! A major achievement. Thanks for creating this archive of so many different games and systems. So many I didn't even know existed unit I saw it here first. You definitely put the work in here and should be proud of this. 🍻 my friend 👍
Thank you for various showcases of Apple II and BBC Micro games! It developed my intrests in those systems, and they are stuck like parasistes in my brain!
@@Highretrogamelord you have come a very long way. I bet your very very happy to be here today as I have enjoyed your videos ever since the first time I met you
Thank you! 😀 Not really, there are so many games I love and could make it to #1: Age of Empires II, Commander Keen 4, GTA: Vice City, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, Half-Life 2, Unreal Tournament 2004, X-Men (arcade), Final Fantasy VI, Guardian Heroes, Doom II, Morrowind, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, Age of Mythology, The Secret of Monkey Island, Marvel vs. Capcom 2...
I am so glad I found your channel. I am looking for a very old game with very bad graphics. I played it on either Atari or maybe C64. It‘s 2D, it has horrible graphics, it‘s from the 80‘s - and from what I recall it was an astronaut who flew in a cavern and not only had to avoid obstacles but wasn‘t allowed to touch the walls, the floor or the ceiling. To achieve this I used the arrow keys to keep the man in the middle of the screen so to say. Funny thing: I am pretty sure we moved left, up, down and to the right. I even asked ChatGPT, which gave up after a while saying it was probably „homebrew“. 😆 It drives me nuts that I can‘t remember the name of that game. It was not very known, that is for sure.
@@HighretrogamelordFree movement with the arrow keys. Neither of the cavern games, tho. And no shooting as far as I remember. Just moving. Thanks for your reply. If you ever happen to come across sth like it, I will see it here for sure. Following you now. Amazing channel, I feel like a kid again.

Honestly, I'm not sure either. Was it something like Caverns of Mars or more like Caverns of Callisto? (Downwards or free movement?)

Sounds like “jetpac” which was a spectrum game (but was also released on the commodore VIC-20).
YOU ARE A LEGEND!!! I WANT A BABY FROM YOU!!!
But what would your wife say to that? 😮
