This is a great choice. It’s pretty much the prettiest “Yeah, I’m onto you,” song you’ll ever hear.
Hair of the Dog , being the opposite.
Although listed as a separate song, "Sirius" is actually the intro to "Eye in The Sky". Not many reactors know that, so hats off!
This is the biggest hit, and Alan Parsons must be getting mad royalties from the NBA, but the one I love is Don't Answer Me. The song is great, the video is amazing, and I need to break out a box of tissues every time.
The INTRO was played by the CHICAGO BULLS B4 every home game during JORDANS CAREER!!!
WWF used it as Ricky Steamboats theme in 1986/1987 as well.
Pretty much every nba team.
I like Iron Mike's music with chains clanging when he's coming to meet M.S.😀
I get chills every time I hear it. 90s Bulls were so much fun.
And at guard... from the University of North Carolina. Michael Jordan! Gotta love a Tar Heel !
Thanks for the video & content! I was 20 years old in the USAF in Europe when I first heard this in the mid-late 1970's. Now that I'm 64, I still think it's ahead of it's time. My take on the lyrics is that the singer is "on to" his girlfriend concerning their relationship. And, the singer (Alan) is calling BS on her intentions/ulterior motives. I didn't get it 44 years ago. Nonetheless, the vocals and musicianship transended the message for me at that time. I was in a hard rock band at that time and hated disco... but then this!?! Wowzers! 😎👍🎸
NBA 2K11 Michael Jordan Edition, this song was on the sound track. Started it all for me. 90s Bulls were a bit before my time so 2K11 helped build my appreciation for Jordan’s career by doing the runthrough. I found this gem on that game however and I’ve since listened to all 10 of APP’s studio albums as well as his 4 solos.
Went to see Alan last year and had an incredible time as well. Thumbs up.
A song/music that bridges the '80s and the present. If you were a fan of the Alan Parsons Project in the '80's, COOL!!! If you were a Chicago Bulls fan in the '90's and loved their player intros, COOL!!! If you just watched the NetFlix show "Last Dance" COOL!!! We have you all covered. One of the greatest piece of music EVER!!! I'm out!!!
You are the only reactor to include the intro "Sirius"
Kudos
Cheryl Steele I was so excited to see that!
@@Jihavoh777 Agree! Well done, MRM!!!!
I remember that Sirius was used by the Phoenix Suns and other teams as the players came out. Love it !
The Eye in the Sky with out Sirius isn't The Eye in the Sky. Perfect selection MRM!!"
Also Jamel_aka_Jamal does it, I watched his reaction just yesterday and he included Sirius intro as well
Alan Parsons engineered "The Dark Side of The Moon" From Pink Floyd. Talent.
sure did, and became a great musician in his own right. Love The Raven
He also hand in abbey Road by the Beatles !
Wow i.just learned something new.
He also engineered Wish You Were Here and Produced or engineered most of Al Stewart's stuff...

I was going to say that lol
Got this album for my 19th birthday while serving in the Army. Good friend from Aliquippa, Pennsylvania got it for me. Never forget it. Memories.
It's been a long time since I've listened to Alan Parsons Project. I forgot how great they were. I will have to include this back into my playlist. Thanks for the reminder of great music!
Amazing song!!!! Long live Alan Parsons!!!
Cant believe you did this tune. You ARE a Renaissance Man after all.
This always reminded me a little bit of The Moody Blues. a little
It reminds me of ELO. Alan Parsons and Jeff Lynne are both brilliant producers and musicians.
As a kid, "Don't answer me" was a favorite of mine, I liked the animated music video. With Nick in a yellow trench coat, it reminded me of a Dick Tracy comic.
I want my real music again and not just UA-cam videos. However I’m very grateful it’s available !!!
Amazing Vibes on this Master~Peace...🙏👣🌎🎶
Absolutely well crafted and composed. Genius. I could listen to this in any setting.
Beautiful song.
I know what this song is really about, which is why it almost always brings tears to my eyes.
I see this song being meaningful on many levels as I do with the vast majority of Progressive Rock(an era I grew up in and currently mentoring someone on). This song can be seen as reflection on the break up of a bad relationship of which we have all been through, but on a bigger level, if you listen to the words, it can have a much bigger meaning and influence on spirituality and how we live, that someone/something of a higher power, depending on your personal beliefs, is always watching how we live our lives.
Its may favorite band between any good band of the 70s
Im from NC, so we love Michael Jordan too. I saw Bulls and Hornets play in 90s. I was a huge Charlotte Hornets fan.
This is one of my favorite songs! It brings back the memories! ❤️🌹❤️
I discovered Alan Parsons when they released their album turn of a friendly card which is absolutely amazing, I was 17 and I still have the album and can't tell you how many times it's been played over the years, but it is still one of my favorites lol. So glad you liked it...♡
'Days Are Numbers' is the prettiest song in APP's catalog, but as others have mentioned there are so many great songs you could potentially feature in their discography.
Engineer for Beatles (Abby Road) Pink Floyd (Dark Side...) and others, Alan Parsons (and his project) is so clean and so well produced! You should look him up, pretty impressive guy and his music speaks for itself!
Kent Nottingham I think he also did Rolling Stones, too!
I agree, Kent. Alan Parsons is a musical genius.
Love this song
My all time favorite song , such a great song and band.
Man I'm so glad you included Sirius. Such a smooth transition into Eye in the sky
Was going to say that too. Pulls back at the end of Sirius, sits in the pocket and then away you go in another direction. Great song, thoughtful lyrics.
Great song Ty, driving at night works for me.
I love Alan Parsons!! PLEASE do “Breakdown”.
I've always said this is the perfect night driving song. So glad you felt the same :D
That introduction has been used over and over again. 😎✌️
It's the old entrance music for Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat!
Thank you. It was driving me nuts trying to think of which wrestler
Legendary matches vs Randy "The Macho Man" Savage.
'The sun in your eyes made some of the lies worth believing' ~~ great lyric
I love the smoothness in their songs. So beautiful. APP is classic. 💓
Every NBA Team was already behind with 10 Points just listening to that Intro back in the 90s... Jordan GOAT!
I had been a fan for long time; have majority of their albums. Many songs with memories linking many different moments in life.
More APP that you might want to listen to; “Old And Wise”, “Games People Play”, “Some Other Time”, “Doctor Tarr And Professor Fether”... all great stuff, and all very diverse.
My favorite APP piece is their instrumental that they unfortunately named Lucifer. Great music, unfortunate name.
I remember this song, awakens so many great memories!! 🥰
And now!! From North Carolina!!!
This song is eerie.
Congratulations MRM for your YT Award!!
Thx
Thank you for including Sirius. It’s not the same without it.
I still have and listen to my cassette tape of APP. Live Alan Parsons music forever.
Alan Parsons Project had some pretty good LP's back in the day. Had some of their albums on 8 track...!! Yeah...8 track!!😂😂😂😂
The album titled "Eve" was one I never really played around any of the young ladies I knew....
I was 32 when that song came out. Love it!
thx for being subbed for over a year
Love that you are reviewing APP. Amazing layered music, great lyrics.
What a masterpiece!
this song...made in the seventies..is more pertinent now in 2021 than ever before...with artificial intelligence, facebook, twitter, you tube, and the whole survellance state, now a reality, this song was a warning of future events!
I remember laying out at the pool this would play every day just like Eddie Grants Electric Ave. And we have a local radio station that plays 60s-90s, this still gets played.
Parsons was a producer (See Beatles Abby Road as example) and he would put together these great groups of singers, musicians and put out one great album after another for a while. He put out his final album last fall on the internet and I would encourage everyone to check it out. HIs goodbye video makes references to all of the albums he produced for other groups and his own. It is funny and revealing as he goes off into the sunset.
One of the top five songs EVER ! just brilliant.
the message of the song is very deep...
The first musical part is called Sirius. That always reminds me of the Niles basketball scene on Frasier
this was a great stoner song back in the day lol love it still
Alan Parsons also produced a lot of exceptional albums.
I don't want to be a downer, or high jack your comment section, so feel free to delete this if you feel it doesn't fit.
I have neighbors who are even older than I am (89, and 78) I offered to make a grocery run, or to pick up meds for them if they needed me to. If you have older neighbors, show some love and offer to help them out if you can. This pandemic is a lot more serious for them (us?) A small gesture on your part could make a huge difference in their lives.
Love this song!
Another good song.
I only remember the song from the single on the radio (meaning without the intro). Riding in the car with my family on trips. I didn't know until the last decade that the Bulls intro song was Alan Parsons and that it was the intro to Eye In the Sky
Man oh man loved that intro. Yes I remember this song, it is awesome and the lyrics are relevant in today’s times. I have spent enjoyable times skating to this. I am sure I have heard the intro in an action movie. The melody is very catchy and in some ways soothing.💕💕
Thanks for playing the intro!!
Ahhh such a classic beautiful song. They were one of the first with ambient music combined with voice....
Omg love this song.
Let`s go for the two hundred thousand MRM. I follow to you since the first time from Chile, South america
Thank you!
WOW!!! Thank you for a great blast from the past. Love Alan Parsons Project!!! I was actually young then lol!!🙂🤣🤣🤣💕💕💕💕💖
I strongly recommend to you, the following songs for future videos:
Bill Withers - Hope she'll be happier
Curtis Mayfield & The Impressions - If there is a hell below, we're all gonna go
The Impressions - Choice of colors
Isley Brothers - Work to do
Syl Johnson - Concrete reservation
Freddie King - Going down
Curtis Mayfield - Get down
Curtis Mayfield - Other side of town
Basically, you can't go wrong with any songs from Bill Withers or Curtis Mayfield (with or without The Impressions)
FAVORITE!!!!!!!
Dr Evil: We're turning the moon into a giant death star using a laser invented by Dr Alan Parsons. So I call my plan: Alan Parsons project.
😁Those movies are funny "How about no!"
@@barbarachieppo8290 Sharks WITH FREAKING LASER BEAMS attached to their heads!
Love these guys!! Thank you for sharing.
The intro was what used to played at Chicago Stadium before the Bulls games when Michael Jordan was in his heyday. Well written song, enjoyed hearing it again.
Good song 😊 ONE OF MY FAVORITES
This song reminds me of being teenager hanging with my friends back in Oak Cliff Texas
Thank you for playing through and not interrupting. Love this song and your professional work.
Can't wait! Love Alan Parsons, since I know your gonna love it you should do time by them it's such a beautiful song...♡
I Love this song!!! Brings back so many memories.😊Thank you!❣
It reminds me of God in a way. He has to deal with fools and the promises they make to him knowing they won't keep them. He could cheat them blind if he chose to do so, but doesn't because of his mercy and grace. Thanks Ty. Love Alan Parsons Project. Hate to be one of those people that ask for more, but please react to "Games People Play" it is a really good one. As always thanks for your reaction videos. They are a bright spot that I look forward to every day.
In my middle 70s sure brings better days when my middle-aged sons were boys. I do like this song.
God, I love that intro. Thanks for the reaction video, I haven't heard this song in AGES. You and me were bopping along at the same time :P
thomas dolby "I love you goodbye" is another one you might like. good story the video has incredible images.
Ha! Love this song.💥😁💜
My favorite is Old and Wise...I have requested it to be played at my funeral.
The Eagle Will Rise Again and Siren Song are two really good Alan Parsons Project tunes
"Ladys and Gentleman...From the University of North Carolina...standing 6ft.6 inches... Guard...MICHAEL....JORDAN!!!!!! I'm not even from Chicago or North Carolina. Everyone knows the music that played when the Bulls introduced their starting lineup. Next would be Scottie Pippen.
The beginning to that song will always be associated with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.
And "The Man in The Middle" Bill Carwright.
Cartwright, sorry
Love MJ. One of my favorite Tar Heels!
Can you image, that "some" people in this world are not socialized with and maybe not even know, that there is a team named Chicago Bulls? They "only" know this piece of music as what it is: A masterpiece!
Haven't seen your video yet. This is one of my million favorite songs. Still a favorite. Hope you do it justice 😁
Seriously one of my favorite groups.
Takes me back to my late teen's cruising in my brothr car THANK YOU MRM
One of my hubby’s fav artists. Nice that you’ve started getting to know him.
Thanks for reacting to this song. One of my all time favorites. Now when you do Whiter Shade of Pale that will be it for me.
Dammed if I do, Silence and I, Time other great songs by APP
Thanks for the lyrics man. All these years I just hummed along.
I love the 70s and 80s..better times and good music
Fantastic song, everything you play is like the song track to my life, thanks for the memories
i had this cassette before anyone else, I'd drive around town with it cranked and people would ask me who it was LOL glorious
"Time" is one of the saddest songs ever made. And I always loved "Dont answer me"
You need to post 'Time' by the Alan Parsons Project... just beautiful and emotional.
You must do Alan Parsons I Robot from same album, or The Raven from Tails of Mystery and Imagination
both albums you could play those all the way through and enjoy. not a bum track on either one
Wow, I remember when this first came out! good song for saturday cleaning/sing along. It was fun watching you enjoy it for the first time! "dealing with fools," life in 2020!
'The sun in your eyes made some of the lies worth believing.'
This song is about big brother, the original video shows scenes from a movie called 1984, based on Orwells book of the same name 1984
