I really need to see Crowd Control after its buff. Going from 14 at launch, to 20, then 60 should be pretty strong but nobody has used it.
Yun Jin has bad perks but Twitter loves her "a normal amount" and she gets outfits at high rate. I guess she's not as rare as you're saying.
I like using it . Sadly you really only get value out of a chase or two . Once a survivor gets zoned because it if they hunt it down like it owes them money . Or call it out to their team mates . I like it way more than bamboozle .

The new alien perk will prob be great on him, opening a lock makes anyone who enters your terror radius scream and reveal their position for like 30 seconds

Trickster main here. My favourite aspect of him has always been finding those sweet places where you can get a knife or two into a survivor not looking out for them. Even experienced survivors fall for them. For example, some versions of the shack have holes in the walls that can make it really unsafe if you go against a Trickster with good aim!
It's such a shame they change Death Throes, tho: The accuracy challenge was quite fun, even if it was rarely as rewarding as you'd expect from an iri.
Also: Holy shit that ad placement was smooth.

I absolutely love Yun-Jin’s character & lore! It’s why I main her now
When I first saw trickster K-pop aside I was game. Huntress having good ranged damage and deathslinger having one really powerful shot led me to think trickster would follow up by having many shots for low damage that ideally would still reward being precise. Because of how his recoil works even if you train super hard and learn the arc of the throw or memorize the travel pattern between alternating hands none of it matters. The recoil after the first 2 knives is 50-50 chance to go up and left or up and right so even if you become a god with trickster you’re going to average around half of your knives actually going where you wanted them to. Like if you’re going to shoot with your throws spaced out to counteract this then you may as well just play huntress.

To be fair the Korean music industry is actually pretty bad
As a console player the best way to play trickster is injure a survivor will knives then down them with the bat. They don't get a speed boost from knives so it's easier to catch up, also throw knives when a survivor drops a pallet since they'll be stuck in the animation.
I also had to learn my way around playing him on playstation. You’re going to be using your bat quite A LOT.
b..bu..but they do get a speed boost you just don't get stuck in a wipe animation they still get a fair distance tho
That's what I've been doing... or trying really. The problem is that it takes so fucking long to switch from the blades back to his bat :(
@@WonHakWoon Yes, that`s a major problem. So many times a injured surv is direct in front of you and you miss the hit...cause there is no hit to make. Switch takes endless time

On the XBox you need LT for knives and RT for throwing. To trigger the main event you should press LB, the left shoulder button - but without letting go of the other two. It`s impossible. Luckily the buttons can be freely assigned. I play with an Elite Controller and have put the main event on the little extra triggers what works to perfection. That way I don't have to let go of the sticks.

Not only are exit gates super fast, but they can also just be 99%'ed. Even though the time for the realm to collapse is still probably plenty it just feels so much worse when your just trying to get one last hook and see the switch get instantly pulled.

You clearly weren't playing Trickster much when Hawkins was still here, so: that was how to train him. Hawkins and Gideon's are how to train the 'holy trinity' addons, because trust me: those bounces aren't random, and what you need to know is that neither is Trickster's sway or spread.
A gentle leviathan pattern means you can completely control where the blades go, including the bounces.

I still think it'd be cool if his power was more about the main part of his lore where he's a musician making beats from people's death screams, not the small detail that he's good at throwing knives. Maybe something like when he hits a survivor they scream and he records it so he can either drop it to fake the injured grunts of a survivor, or collect 4 unique recordings to make a song that you drop and it mimics your terror radius. You know, like a Trickster would, faking the survivors out and going semi stealthy
I would not have blamed you for just saying "throw knives. He sucks ass. Goodnight" and playing 10 minutes of the video credits

Trickster's theme is probably one of my favorite things about him that it just sucks his chase music isn't as impressive. I understand that in the lore the music has the screams of his victims in the background, but it can sound at least a bit better and have more rhythm?? Idk for a killer that's based on K-pop, his chase music sounds more emo like instead.

As a Trickster main, it can be painful sometimes, but it's worth it. If feels nice to land good shots, and to get momentum. 😅
Initially played Trickster on PSN, to mitigate the lack of aiming control, I would just adjust my aim with left joystick. It didnt last long because i switched to PC because of the absolutely broken RE chapter that followed. Also I lost my mind at the Yun Jin audio.

To be honest ive been playing Trickster a ton recently cause he seemed interesting, and i didnt even know he had recoil because i was using Keyboard and Mouse
Im pretty sure that because they removed it, or at least lessened it significantly. (They intimidatly reworked him after this video)
i don't think making the knives bounce, shatter or go through people really qualifies as a complete rework but i don't blame you because that kind of augmentation seems to be what makes a rework according to BHVR

After the rework he`s more playable on consoles. A major issue to me is the endless switch between blades and bat. The button assignment on the controller is also bad:

Everyone compares Trickster to Huntress. I think it is better to say Trickster is a worse Plague. Both do damage that builds up over time using many small projectiles. The Plague's builds up and spreads to other survivors, the Trickster's count down. Both charge up their power and move slow, but the Plague moves faster once she is finished charging and the Trickster slows down. Both have a super saiyan mode, but Plague's is better by miles. Plague is 115%, Trickster is 110%. They both do the same thing in being a mid range killer effective over short loops, but Trickster would be lucky if Vommy Mommy wiped her ass with his jacket.
