This was tremendously helpful. Thank you for this! I have been looking over this modular couch for months due to its size and storage. This video has helped me put those things into perspective of some other features that are important to me and my family.
Great to hear! Yeah, as a couch, it's fairly firm and not so cozy like a cloud couch would be, but I also love having the extra storage space and it works pretty well for a bed.
Nice job! I have been considering this couch for a month or two. You managed to answer all my questions. I appreciate your well thought out review. Thanks a million!
@@renaissancejames it really was. even with my concern about the high back, i just rotate a couple of the back pillows vertically on the side along the wall and im good to go. got it the week before christmas and ive slept on it more than i have my own bed
@@svpcharls Good to hear. I also use it for a bed or reclined place to watch tv. I also rearrange the units fairly often to keep a sense of "newness" in the place.
I sat in the regular sized Lovesac and it was the same. They only had one ottoman and I didn’t get to use it. lol. But exactly the same. I was impressed the Belffin has the slanting back.
So then, when sitting normally on the modular seats (without an ottoman in front) one's butt tends to slide forward and you 'slump' into the seat, as opposed to sitting comfortably in a more upright position? Which fabric did you select, as some may be more slippery than others. I would think the "velvet" is somewhat more slippery than some of the other fabric options they offer. Also, how high in inches are the backrest cushions? Looks like some of Belffin's sectional sofas have higher backrest cushions than others, one having backrest cushions of 15.7 inches and at least one other model having backrest cushions of 18.9 inches. According to quite a few reviews I've read people have said that the 15.7 inch backrests are too low and do not support one's head.
Thank you for the update I been doing my research on this couch from Amazon and you are the only one here taking about it this is exciting but idk if I should get it green color or beige I was wondering if the pillows have zipper to wash the cover ?
It's somewhat comfortable. Definitely not soft or plush, but firmer, though I don't feel uncomfortable on it. I also keep the six pieces together and use it as a bed most of the time, and for that it works very well.
@@LauraAnnetteGarcia It's fairly firm, so it's certainly not as cozy as other couches might be. But I guess on the bright side, it shouldn't get unwanted lumps and all that.
@@renaissancejames I ended up getting the couch. Lol. It good for me (5'7") and my short wife. And good if company wants to lay down and watch TV. Not good for 5 adults sitting up
@@davidwoods7861 Good to know! Yeah, I use it as a bed every night and it works well for that. I also will change the configuration every so often, which makes it kind of fun since it feels "new" then. :)
@@renaissancejames I feel I need to order two more arm pieces to make the configurations from the advertisements. I think the pictures on Amazon tricked me a little.

Thank you! That was one of my main concerns given the dimensions of the couch, ordering on-line and no return options.
Glad it was helpful! I imagine returns would be difficult and costly. Hopefully it isn't needed.

Was just about to buy this, thank for the heads up.
Happy to help. :)
You answered my question in the first minute. Thank you!
Glad it helped.

Has anyone tried the sleeper option? Just wondering if it has the HORRIFIC bars that hit your back like the old pull-out sleepers have??

Oh and you didn’t say is the couch comfortable over all to seat on it ?
I like the beige, though it also looks like light grey. Yup, the cases come off the pillows.

No problem. Hope it helps.
This video helped alot. Think im going to skip this couch and get a better one.
Definitely some pros and cons about it.

How tall are you? 5'1" me is not concerned, but 6'2" partner is.
5'9. It will be perhaps a bit tight on 6'2, but at an angle it could work.
It looks uncomfortable, no head support, plus I like leather couches
