I'm also form Baguio and I have a BPO experience for less than a year lang. I can say that I have the soft skills from front facing clients and virtually talking to them through phone call. I also have my own equipment but sadly every resumes submitted after browsing VA opportunities. No response talaga because of my cridentials na college undergrad lang and di kabisado ang tools ginagamit ng freelancer. Hoping for a WFH set up na may training unpaid or paid as long as I learn on the job sana and I can easily adapt naman. VA agencies ang usually nag ooffer nyan pero mas tedious ang application over direct client.....kay very impt to save and buy your own laptop kung direct client ang gusto....
