Sarah ... Another great informative video. Wasn’t aware of industry change concerning combo burn units. Thanks! Will be looking forward to the ‘burn’ video.
Hello, the larger EPA 2020 Fire Chief units will not be available until Spring 2021. Unfortunately, there is no further information available at this time.
Hi i bought a fire chief stove and i love it best money spent im throwing a message in im wondering where to get part for it like blower for duck work and just basic stuff for it if anyone can give me pointer on that be great and thank you
Bought one of these, to replace an old Ashley, worst decision ever, constantly smokes even with following the instructions. Also leaks air at all seams, there is ash residue at every seam. Very unhappy and the company I bought it from will not answer or respond.
Just a quick question, I just bought this stove and read that blower cabinet on back needs to be at least 12 inches from wall. Have you had any trouble with yours being very close to wall?
Hi can you show the inside of the firebox. I'll be purchasing this in August. And could you show for people like myself that will be owning wood burning item for the 1st time what the 1st thing that we should do from stepp 1,2 and 3. Because heard somebody else says you should burn outside the house 1st burn before you burn it for the 1st time . Otherwise it creates smoke in the house . So could you please tell us everything we need to know . I would feel comfortable to purchase it. Thank you!

Not real happy with my fire chief put in in 06 quit burning it in 07. Paid big bucks for it kept plugging my chimney. Alot of work cleaning chimney and keeping up with the wood hog.
Been burning wood for heat a long time. Have had one of these units for less than a year and used it under very reasonable circumstances. Smoke was coming out of the back of it for a reason the warranty people didn't even know. Also the corners of the wood inlet door are cracked but the cracked face of the stove is of course not covered by warranty because then they would have to build a better product or fix their mistakes.... Unfortunately that is not the world we live in... Man buys brand new car Dealer: "yeah it's a nice one. Don't go over 60mph tho, the wheels fly off". Man: "But the speed limit is 75".... Dealer: "Have a nice day".
@@ObadiahsWoodstovesTroy Mine's been cracked from the bottom corners of the opening for 15 years. I can't see that it really hurts anything but I'm thinking that I could cut of couple of piece of steel and bolt them over the cracks so that it can expand and contract as it heats up and cools down again.
My Dad has one of these that replaced an Air Blast wood furnace. He isn't too happy with it and he says it leaks a lot of air and only gets about 4 hours out of a burn instead of 10 hours like was stated when he bought it. I use the same wood and get at least 6 hours in my old ass wood stove that needs firebrick replacement and baffle board replacement. The Thermostat doesn't seem to regulate temperature too much either as it is always too hot in their house when he has a fire going. I recently bought a Drolet heat commander for my basement to heat my whole house. The wood stove in the corner of the house doesn't heat my bedroom much at all. Hopefully what I have read about it is true and it is better than this firechief.
I have one I don't like it everytime you open the door to add wood smoke just sprays in your teeth, also my biggest problem is scooping the ash to the middle tiny grate, ash builds up. And you arnt kidding on the burn time about 5 hours I would not recommend this stove.
Furnace regulations changed in 2016, which no longer allows the combination of wood/coal furnaces. Wood furnaces had to go through a new testing standard in 2016, which meant if the furnace is labeled EPA 2020 the unit cannot burn coal. There are coal furnaces, that were labeled and sold as wood/coal units prior to 2016. These units are now labeled and sold as coal units. However, if the customer chooses to burn wood in their coal furnace, what you do in your own home is up to you. Let me know if you have further questions!
Extremely tacky on behalf of obadiah's choice of Representatives. Map of person but how they chose to allow her to dress. I would never buy a furnace from you.

Hello Larry, it is true you need a 12" clearance behind the blower for proper air flow. Otherwise the blower will not function properly.

Hello Josh, this is concerning to hear. Did you contact your dealer that you purchased from and they refused to help you?
