I have a base 950. I've been trying to track down a workshop manual for these. Coming up fast on the desmo service and I'd like to do all the work myself.
Humm..... Im a Ducati mechanic here in Spain... And I highly recomend to NOT touch the desmo sistem by your own, we use special tools, cam shafts lockers and etc etc, take your hyper to the dealership please
I just traded my 2016 Hypermotard 939 in for a 2019 Hypermotard 950 SP. Both bikes are awesome, but the SP feels smoother and more refined. One test ride on the SP was all it took.
@@stevieg7403 I never got to ride the non-SP version but in hindsight, I would seriously consider it based on the up charge for the SP. All that being said, I love my SP for sure!
I just filmed a new Episode of the SP on the dyno yesterday. Such a sweet up/down shifter. I ran it up in the three riding modes to show the different power levels. I might post that vid this friday
Der neue Hypermotard ist eine großartige Maschine. So ein schönes Fahrrad mit viel Power zu fahren. Neues Dyno-Video, das diesen Freitag hochgeladen wird!
I don´t like these little metal plates on the exhaust pipes ! I know that´s for protection of the indicators , but I don´t like it. Disturbing the line of the pipes and the rear. Is there no other solution ?
@@stuka101 It would tidy up the back end bigtime. Good idea. Ducati streetfighter V4 is up soon when it arrives. Full parts listing being installed. Stay tuned mate
That dampener bracket attached to the right side of the triple clamp looks like its installed backwards. Ideally the dampener should be more perpendicular, as in straight across the bike, not on an angle..
Thanks fro the video. Next year I'm planing on a new bike. And the 950 SP is verry intresting. Only tested the standard verison. But I want the SP kit. Fun bike as hell. What about all the smoke 8:06?
Such a nice bike to ride. The up and down shifter is superb. That smoke was from the outside of the bikes exhaust. It hadn't been started before that video. Cheers for the comments mate.
Not much of a choice, also I have one and I didn't change the original license support because I dont know which one should I put, the original one is plain horrible
'Bonza Dingo's', the tail tidy has daft looking reflector plates obscuring the exhausts I would have put up with the OEM tail piece and not had the pipes obscured, it just looks plain daft from the back, ah well I'm off for a nice cup of tea and a Tim Tam,👍👍🇦🇺
Gday mate, I agree. I think it needs smaller indicators or to have them moved so those plates can be removed. New video up at 7am about the bike. Shes on the dyno ! Cheers mate.
You should have disconnected the plug to the stupid servo motor controlling the exhaust valve, turned off the ECU signal to the dash warning light with the diagnostic tool and taken the silencer baffles out of the Termis. Then it would be really nice ☝️🤡👍
I'm currently riding a 2022 model here in California absolutely awesome bike
Soon as i cure the Factory covid this thing will be perfect.
Stay safe mate and soon will be riding weather for ya. Thanks for the comment man.

Yes I agree !
I also agree with Christian mate.
Those exhaust heat guard wings are WACK!
Agreed, I'd go for integrated indicators just for that reason though I have them on my Hyper 939 anyway as it looks even cleaner.

Yeah Kim its a great bike. Even in the lower power modes its impressive. Full power would be insane when its run in and had first service.
Just out of curiosity if you had the choice between the:
939 SP Vs 950 standard bike, which one would you go for?

Please do
Now that’s a beautiful bike!
A thing of beauty! My perfect bike if I had the budget.
Nice vid mate, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Mark. Glad you liked it.
Traummotorrad-wunderschön,ich fahre die Hyper 1100,Bj 2007,noch immer jeder Kilometer ein Genuß 😍

Found what I was looking for thank you 😊

I know thats what i thought when i fitted them too. I would be taking them off and relocating my indicators elsewhere.
@@turbobike749 Get the integrated tail light then you can remove the plates and not worry

Could I update and remove my hypermotard 950 from transport mode? with Texa TXB
What’s the Ducati part numbers for the steering damper assembly. Not the actual damper itself
Hi JP. Not sure mate, just hit up your local dealer and they can hook you up.
Patto mate how about the warranty, put slip on from new? Still covered ?
The most important upgrade there is the steering damper, definitely takes the twitches away if pushing it.
Very important part of the bike that they should have from standard hey.
That will be my next purchase . I've gotten the wobbles gunning it .

Cheers mate I will check it out 👍
where did you get the damper with mounting kit included?

That plate is blocking the real sound of the expensive awesome pipe you bought , not good
Yes it is a pitty the plate stops the noise a bit. Indicators in the wrong spot and want to get cooked off.
Not much of a choice, also I have one and I didn't change the original license support because I dont know which one should I put, the original one is plain horrible
Gonçalo Barros Yeah me too. I put the R & G Racing unit on mine but it hides the exhaust from behind. Better than stock but not ideal.

There is no fuel meter ? 🧐
you don't need it
Just a fuel light from memory mate
🌟
👍
You couldn't give it some throttle after adding the pipes??? 😆
Yeah I know.... she was brand new so I thought I would go easy on it.

Crazybike :-)
Very nice weapon to slice up the streets with.
17K whoa
awesome machine hey
nice made vid
Thankyou mate 👍
Hummm, the oil cooler, in this place...no like....
They always put them in odd spots hey mate.
There’s surly got to be a better alternative to those terrible heat shields on the tail tidy 👎
this bike is a work of art, because you ruin it by putting those accessories, I will never understand it
Cheers mate for the comment. Yep it is a work of art for sure.
