Thanks for the video- I went and picked up some of these titles at the local music store after watching this. Looking forward to working through the Mickey Baker and Ted Greene books!
5:36 Ted Greene's books look like the ideal ones if you want to shut yourself away in a monastery, otherwise seem to be more like a sort of dictionary or thesaurus of chords...the problem is that life is too short!
Thanks you! Picking is tough, fingerstyle, flatpick, hyrbid....etc. Best to search out books about the style of music you like (jazz, classical, etc) and see what you can find. Ted Greene single not soloing and some of the Berklee books may be good for picking but you might need to be able to read music. Thanks again!
Thank you for recommending such great books on UA-cam. They’ve been really helpful, and I appreciate it!

My old guitar teacher, Joe Cinderella, recommended I take the Mickey Baker book when I went in the Army back in 1966.
Great recommendations.
Thank you!

Great video! David, what books do you recommend to develop our picking technique?
