Don't chase a specific role like devops or devlopment etc, just focus on skills and be flexible. Also, in this journey, you will learn alot like automation, programming, scripting, IAC, ci/cd, software lifecycle and lot. later you can choose anyone to get the expertise.

Drag drop will not work in terminal.
Best way to transfer files is to use WinScp tool.
scp and cp major differnece
Cp is used for transfer files on same sever like one folder to another.
SCP is used to copy files from one server to another server.
