This is ridiculously complex, it came to a point when I didn't know what I was actually doing, even with this awesome guide. Stuff like this would be some kind of glitchy speedrun in other games, lol.
As far as I can tell, this is the ONLY guide to doing the 0% run, making it the definitive guide. I really wish more people talked about them secret passageways and how difficult it is to traverse them, but I guess this game just doesn’t have a big enough player base for that.
If anyone tries to do this in their games, I laid out the instructions based on “chapters”-ish and also hidden areas. This list the hidden areas used to avoid completing the god cube areas. -2:43: First god cube (blue) area--7:56-8:38: Babysiting the god cube and bring it into the first area, and find the black door (it is visible at the very start of the game, through the window before you leave the first room), inside the bulding, press that blue cube pedestal so that you can come back without the god cube, let the timer of the god cube warp you back. -14:00: Yellow god cube area: 19:32-21:12 Babysitting the green/yellow cube -26:19-28:39: The sequence: (1) Green, (2) Purple, (3) Yellow, (4) Red, (5) Orange, (6) Green, (7) Purple, (8) Blue, (9) Yellow, (10) Red, (11) Yellow, (12) Orange, (13) Blue, (14) Orange, then (15) Green. -30:37: Green god cube area. 31:06-34:48 Blue cube babysit and gathering (but 6 cubes are needed (ua-cam.com/video/FgxoZ1qi4JM/v-deo.html )). -36:57: Hidden area part of the detour -39:12: Yellow god cube area (reused colors): 39:25 Yellow cube babysit, 40:31 hidden area in the white ceiling -41:54 need the red cube, placed at 43:14 to form a stopping position, 43:14-44:50 return to the area of the yellow god cube (we're getting the yellow/green hybrid cube), do it again at 49:28 to get the second green/yellow cube. -53:51-57:21 “pyramid room” babysit the orange/purple cube so that both cubes in the hidden doorway from the halway can open the door. -57:30 6 cubes are all skipped, we are now on the final one, therefore all of this puzzles are the same as the “normal run” except for the final cube... -1:04:58 the rainbow cube area -1:07:39 grab final god cube, 1:08:28 take it all the way back to the room with staircases, and underneath the platform, there is a little portal that takes you to the top of the room (will be placed in the opposite side of the big portal to the room where you got your cube from), look for a platform that has the dark wall, it has a white stripe pattern on top of that (if you are on the platform in the center of the room, the white stripe pattern marking the black door is located atop the big portal where you got the cube from, (and you can see the stripes from there)), as you navigate near the ceiling. 1:09:53 Is the successful attempt. -1:10:41 Done! (I don't know if manifold garden features 3 portals with 2 leading to one of them, assuming there is no duplicate in the final room where you drop into a void) So far I noticed that the dark doors used for secrets are only used twice. for the first and last god cube. The dark doors used in the “normal” playthrough was used only once-- in the yellow god cube area (the one with 4 buildings with falling blocks)
When I first finished the game I thought it was pretty cool... A mix of easier and more challenging puzzles, coupled with this great loop-mechanic. But now that I went for the Platinum Trophy, I gained a whole new appreciation for the game. Some of the secret passages, and how they were all connected, blew me away. Very well thought out paths that are really hard to understand. Your guide was a godsend, thank you very much for that! :)
**Me, stuck and thinking we were finishing the puzzle and dipping out a dark door I haven't noticed or something.** Meanwhile: **Lilith steals the green/yellow cube and runs.** "Alrighty then."
This is an amazing guide. Half the time I had no idea where or what level I was on, and then suddenly it was like "Oh!! I remember that door, it comes out here" and then it's off down another rabbit warren!! Fantastic stuff
Thank you for this phenomenal walkthrough for the hardest challenge for one of my favourite games of all time. I can't even begin to imagine the research and backtracking that went into this, but I am very grateful to you. It also shows what an incredible piece of work this game is. On the second play through, in the first room, you can clearly see the first "dark gate" through the window on the floor. The developer hid this entire alternate walkthrough in plain site, and weaves it masterfully through all the other levels letting you transition through environments that were only tantalising vistas through other windows. I feel like these are two alternate games braided together across a strange spiral of interiors and exteriors, which is entirely fitting with the themes of the game and its final double helix waterfall where you awaken the tree of knowledge at its middle. Remembering how Michelangelo hid the human brain in the centre of the Sistine Chapel: the symbols run deep in this one.
I noticed some of the secret doors and accidentally did some of the secret path in my first playthrough, but I'd never have found some of these passageways, and figuring out some of the long-range cube transports would have been a huge pain in the ass. Thanks for the guide =)
Amazing job on the video and i don't care how many times you ran this, it is extremely impressive that you remembered every level like you did. Well done and thank you very much for helping me get the platinum, would not have been able to do this without help. Keep up the good work!
I don’t know what to say. This video has given me yet another perspective and I thought the game itself had done that enough already. Did you work on that route on your own? Must have taken an eternity. You absolutely magnificent being! Thank you, for without this I would not have gone for the hustle of getting the platinum here. What an incredible experience this “game” is…
My first playthrough was already great, really well-made puzzle game! But the second one truly brought this game on another dimension, my brain was melting! It's like a second game hidden in the first one, I cannot imagine the amount of time needed to make everything work! There's no way I could have found that path on my own though, so I would like to thank you, you were an excellent guide on this amazing journey!
This is amazing watching you do this. I had absolutely no idea how deep this game is playing through it on a normal run. When you took the yellow/green cube at about 20 minutes and started back tracking I was blown away. I'm only at the 30 minute mark copying your run to get the platinum but will have to continue tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing what other amazing stuff there is. Thanks very much for making this video.
Do you mean with platin the "the game is not enough" or "what does it all mean?"? Cause i got all archievments and still didnt get what does it all mean
Thanks for the handy guide! I just completed it. It felt like homework at times but I'm glad there were a few new puzzles in there. Enjoyed spending more time to explore this crazy landscape
The room with the last god cube can be done with only one tree planted, if you just place the water-directing block off to the side at the first intersection. This probably saves like 30 seconds over planting all of them. I accidentally figured this out on my first try. In other words I didn't realize there were even other places to plant trees in that room until I watched this lol
Thank you so much for this. This is something I would never have figured out without a lot of hints. Amazing work! Now I need to figure out how to stop my brain melting from all that.
Thank you ever so much for this, Lilith! I was able to replicate this for my second run so the Platinum is now mine. Even so, I hardly understood what I was doing half of the time. Never in a million years would I have been able to figure all this out on my own. Your neurokinetics are truly way above normal!
Really, the whole thing boils down to opening that big door at 57:20, which leads you right into the final gauntlet of puzzles. Start by finding the door, then ask yourself how to open it. What sort of cubes do you need? Where can you get them from, and how? Which paths do I need to open to make it easier? Work backwards, it's a lot more manageable that way! Admittedly, I never discovered the route in full until I tried mapping out the entire game world. (I ended up with a full sheet of A1 flip-chart paper covered in scribbles, I do *not* recommend it.) I was like "Huh, the way these secret routes are placed... shouldn't it be theoretically possible to skip all the trees?" And sure enough, it is.
@@lilithleblanc1113 That's amazing! You should make a "making of" video at some point, showcasing your documents and research! By the way, did you ever look back at the big structure you exit in the end, around @01:10:45 or so? It is quite a sight!
I like your name too, the rebel that chooses to ignore the rules of the garden and goes her own way, using the fruit from the trees of knowledge for her own ends.
At 36:43, I put the blue cube in the red+blue door and robbed the stairs step world for 2 red cubes. Doing that is pretty quick and you can skip the purple-orange cube used with the green-yellow 2 cube door. It's fiddly but you can lock in a lock in a green-yellow with the other green-yellow, probly equal trade off to the fiddlieness with the pillars getting the purple orange one back.
my mind has now melted..... but i suppose that helps enjoy the final cinematic even more after exhausting your self getting to then just sit back and relaxed and enjoy the show.
I got lost around the 43:00 mark. Props for figuring this out - even with the video I’m stuck. UPDATE: Got a few hours asleep and came back fresh. Got the plat. Thank you! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
26:06 There's actually TWO versions of that infinite pillars chasm, and BOTH of them have a hidden portal between 2 pillars with one of them against the wall. Starting from the room with the pyramid-styled top (24:58), there are two doors (at 25:11): One that is activated via river, and one directly above it. -The upper one will eventually lead to the green pillar chasm, which is the inside of the hidden ball puzzle. -The one activated via the river will eventually (assuming you don't take the secret paths on that route) lead to the purple pillar chasm, which is the outside of the hidden ball puzzle.
Game decided for me around 45:00 into this video that it didn't want me to have the two yellow/green blocks. It just got rid of them and closed some doors to boot. I may have to start over now. Not exactly happy about this.
That happened to me on the first attempt at recording this re-run. One of the green/yellow cubes just vanished into thin air as I was dropping it (at around the 48:00 mark). It was the absolute most *annoying* thing. The game's just buggy like that sometimes, I'm afraid... v_v
@@lilithleblanc1113 This happened to me too, but fortunately, I was able to restore my save. I am doing this for the 1000G (around 56 min mark currently, amazing video) and I've been writing down my save time vs. the video time so I can pick it back up and/or know which save to restore if I have an issue.
13:16 In this room, if you also bring the second red cube from the previous red tree, you can just transform a red cube in yellow and take it out by the entrance doing infinite stairs with the 2 red cubes, so you don't have to go through the long way to bring back the green/yellow cube I discovered this by myself and actually thought it was the only way
Good video for reference, though I find it funny I skipped the whole process from 13:50 - 21:40 by taking the red cube which turned yellow in the room and slowly making my way up the wall by placing it above me and switching to red in a way it would stay there and adjust the red cube below it repeatedly till I got up to the door and put it in. Going to have to watch that bit later tho to make sure I didnt miss anything important for later secret doors
I did a couple things different. I laddered a yellow cube up the wall using red cubes to open the yellow bridge door. I used yellow cubes converted to red using the red beam in the room with the yellow tree and blue and red beams. I traded the yellows that were there for the spare purples, used these for the skinny hall doors. I only used 2 red and 2 yellow/green for the "complicated" part with the skinny halls.
I appreciate the guide. Was about 50 mins in and didnt have two yellow and green cubes when I was supposed to. Talk about a bummer. Gonna try again Edit: Did it through the 2nd try and my goodness you deserve so much for figuring this out. Following this guide frame by frame wasnt easy, I can't imagine solving it organically. Thanks so much for this. Just achieved the platinum. Awesome concept but glad it's over lol
1:10:31 that area is connected to this: 2:24, at 2:24 it is in the corner, between the left wall and the wall opposite from where you came from, and drop 9 floors down (hiden “crack” in the wall that requires the blue cube).
The one at the 26:00 mark? There's actually a way to reach the space on the other side of the glass, so you can see the whole tube at once and learn the solution that way. I don't show it here, but if you're curious, I included it in the previous video (see ua-cam.com/video/KDnVMQp3j1c/v-deo.html , at 53:30 ish).
@@lilithleblanc1113 :) Yeah that one lol, I ended up finding that area, its massive and I've found several doors in there that lead back to previous areas, it looks like they've paved the way for more puzzles and paths 🤞
@@lilithleblanc1113 I was even looking around for this but then solved up to step 12 remembering the last color that moved it so it wouldnt move back, then just looked up the last ones here because I didnt know if I messed up
I really liked the game and I feel like I can do decent on puzzles, but finding some of the things is just way beyond my brain, but this really helped me ^^
I feel like these special connections are just beyond my patience. They require scanning every corner of the maps. And keeping track of the connections vetween them. The game is very fun in normal mode, but that seems incredibly tedious
Holy shit the area at 22:00. I forgot that you can rotate the blocks to divert water. I spent hours here and finally found a solution, I know it wasn't correct as I basically "climbed" up the backside of the tower using the yellow blocks to bring the green block up. Took probably half an hour but I planned to look at the "real" solution afterwards, what a waste of time!
So I think I messed up somewhere around the 43 minute mark, my funny cube decided to just disappear. It wasn't in the item holder where I put it, so idk where it went but I feel robbed. Now I gotta start again, I think, which I'm not really looking forward to.
Wooow. I did this in the most insane way... I only used one yellow/green block, and transported a green block all the way from the green god cube area. It took *forever*. This way is a lot more reasonable XD
Yeah, that's... definitely *possible*. Not very fun, though! Part of why I ended up recording this (back when the game first came out) was to help show that it can be done without any of the more painful/tedious cube manipulation. The double-coloured cubes are a godsend!
44:53 It is possible (although extremely hard) to pickup a falling cube, by having the switch gravity setting in the menu set to “instant” and time the “grab” button so you pick it up.
I have also found a secret hallway in the corner of the large room that you enter after opening the door on the tower wrapped in staircases at the very beginning of the game. This room is wrapped in a endless staircase as well but on one of the levels about two levels up in the left corner from the doorway that leads to the first puzzle area with different colored towers which you must leap across the narrow pathway in the middle of the room to get to has a crack in the wall that leads to a door that you must use one of the blue blocks obtained from the green tower in the tower puzzle area to open. This door leads to a repeating hallway that is rife with invisible holes in the walls and one of these holes leads to a large glitchy pocket universe. This repeating hallway has a bridge high up that is used later that leads you the platform that you must leap off of to complete the game. If you are observant, high up on one of the walls on the left is a secret passage that you must pass through the wall to get to. I have just found it but it dead ends at a door that can only be opened from the other side with a red rod switch that's wired to it that I can see through the doors intricate pattern. If anyone has any clues on how to reach this switch from another part of the game later on as the game proceeds please message me back. I am dieing to figure this out!
You're talking about the bridge I cross over at 1:10:30 in the video, right? Immediately after planting the purple god cube in the main hub, the next room contains a water redirection puzzle on a big bridge. Start looking around there! (If you're still struggling, look for the 'Nowhere Secret', as 00 291 suggests. Before one of the more recent updates, it used to be a dead end that led nowhere, and the name stuck!)
9 floors down from the floor after the staircase the floor connected to the door is on leading to those diamond-shaped formation where the first god cube you ecounter.
Amazing guide! However, something went wrong in my playthrough :( I followed this guide literally step for step, not skipping a single second of the video and repeating the exact same actions throughout the entire run. But at 1:04:34 in the run (in my game) the world suddenly collapeses on itself and refuses to allow me to continue. I have loaded and tried running to the same spot again, but the game stops me from making any progress and the game just goes white from there on out. I am unsure why this is occuring, but I really wanted to finish this run so bad!
Very quick update, I somehow did a fix for this by going in to the green gravity, falling all the way down to where the next blue block tree was at 1:05:15 and just picked up the run from there. I am unsure why the game collapses itself at 1:04:34 for me, but I am glad I could find a way to get the fix. I finished the game with the alternate ending and got the "The Game is Not Enough" achievement as a result! Thank you for the AMAZING guide/run!
@@baronzgiraffe5361 this happened to me as well. was following another guide, but the fact that it got me here, you'd think i did everything right. it scared me with that BEWWWW noise
Wait...how were you able to access the Yellow level so early?? I only just completed it today, after doing the Blue, Red, and Green levels first. Is it just this "no god cubes" secret that allows you to complete the levels out of order?
Yeah that's pretty much it. One of the Hidden Achievements related to the Dark Run is "Homecoming", which is when you finally get around to going to a (normally) earlier world from one of the (normally) later ones.
@@syralessthanthree I'm bad at English so I'm using translation software. I only think of this area as an unused room that the author forgot to delete. I'm looking for other rooms like this, but I haven't found one so far.
I LOVE the hidden puzzle section. Really stumped me for a while, I had to step away and come back to it. I kept accidentally backtracking and everything Edit: I meant the section with the ball towards the beginning lol
That part is awesome, I also love the way they hid it with an optical illusion as well. Did you know you can get to the outside area of the secret ball maze?
It's probably slower, but you can avoid going to the giant moving blocks area entirely by bringing an earlier red cube into the puzzle with two red cubes and a yellow... gravity change beam i guess? and just use the two red cubes to climb the wall/floor with the yellow cube, instead of bringing the dual gravity cube in. I did that and I was pretty confused as to why you were in the giant blocks room at first.
Is there a reason for pressing all the buttons when 4 (or sometimes 8) doors open all into the same room (second garden with where you see the tertris blocks for the first time)?
I think I fucked up. I was watching a different guide and I placed the rainbow cube in at the end…if I can’t fix it from that save, I ain’t doing this again. Sucks to suck,
Would you say that this run has any true technical challenges, i.e. challenges that require a large amount of practice, vs investigation/exploration? As a exploration/physics puzzler, I wouldn't expect that to be the case, but it all went so fast that it was hard to tell.
Okay I was able to do the skip at 19:30 but with the first yellow/green cube in the blue tower instead of the second yellow/green in the red tower. Is there any reason to do this differently? Edit: The first yellow/green cube was at 14:28
Where do i find these achievement/trophies in your video? Honey, I Shrunk Myself Shrink Down Into a Small Model of a Level Homecoming Use a Hidden Path to Return to an Earlier Level
Yes but what does it all mean ? What does it really mean ? If one does not transcend into a kaleidoscope of rainbows but into this black abyss, is it incorrect ?
You didn't really free the garden from the corruption, so in the end you didn't get the full multidimensional form and didn't see beyond the three dimensions, and the world collapsed in darkness as the gardens didn't bring any color and life to the universe. That's my interpretation. I swear this game is just one giant metaphor and has a full untold story
@@alexpopierdolilo8652 Giving that the dev have said that the whole game is a metaphor of science, where you started in confined scope and ended up understanding the mechanics of the whole universe (and I suppose that also mean being able to create one), not planting the god seed could mean not trying to understand things but to just take it "as is"? That really doesn't sound like the correct meaning the game is trying to tell though. My take on interpreting this would be, giving that this route realistically would only be solvable by those that have been through the whole normal route and make use of all the mechanics plus quite some smuggling, and the route itself is somewhat hidden in plain sight to begin with, it's probably more of a continuation to the normal route, that is, from making use of the discoveries to actually understanding the true nature of these discoveries.
Good ending: good drug trip.
Bad ending: bad drug trip.
It' s like there is a whole second game hidden within.
Never in a million years I woulda found any of these hidden ways...
Because thats one obtuse and annoying game design

Amazing. Thank you so much. I can't imagine how many times you have played this game
It's fiddly but you can lock in a lock in a green-yellow with the other green-yellow, probly equal trade off to the fiddlieness with the pillars getting the purple orange one back.
bruh I just followed your other run before seeing this one and now I've gotta run the game again. goddamn. great job though.
Right? How *dare* they patch the game so true 0% is finally possible?
finally decided to to come back to this game and got the platinum. thanks for the guide.
my mind has now melted..... but i suppose that helps enjoy the final cinematic even more after exhausting your self getting to then just sit back and relaxed and enjoy the show.
The main game is awesome, but the hidden game is a masterpiece. Thanks for this video, I'd never see this for myself haha
I got lost around the 43:00 mark. Props for figuring this out - even with the video I’m stuck.
UPDATE: Got a few hours asleep and came back fresh. Got the plat. Thank you! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Sometimes a bit of rest is all one needs. :)
Had the same issue. I felt your pain. Almost gave up. Try again and see the ending. It's worth it
13:16 In this room, if you also bring the second red cube from the previous red tree, you can just transform a red cube in yellow and take it out by the entrance doing infinite stairs with the 2 red cubes, so you don't have to go through the long way to bring back the green/yellow cube
I discovered this by myself and actually thought it was the only way
Good video for reference, though I find it funny I skipped the whole process from 13:50 - 21:40 by taking the red cube which turned yellow in the room and slowly making my way up the wall by placing it above me and switching to red in a way it would stay there and adjust the red cube below it repeatedly till I got up to the door and put it in. Going to have to watch that bit later tho to make sure I didnt miss anything important for later secret doors
Thanks! This is going to be so helpful if I get stuck on my own run
So many secrets and convoluted paths just to turn on dark mode for the main menu xD
Seriously though, that was a very impressive run to watch ♪
Thank you for helping me get that sweet 100% of the game
The final god cube is just missing. The pedestal is there, the cage is gone, but it is empty. Thank you for showing me the end.
Thank you for this! Amazing video walkthrough.
thanks
without this i would never have done it at all
Thanks for uploading this. I would never have found all the secrets without!
Gonna try again
Edit: Did it through the 2nd try and my goodness you deserve so much for figuring this out. Following this guide frame by frame wasnt easy, I can't imagine solving it organically. Thanks so much for this. Just achieved the platinum. Awesome concept but glad it's over lol
Thank you for making this. Please feel free to upload this guide to Rumble too.
Thanks a lot for the full walkthrough on this one. What a nightmare 😂
I thought I had decent spatial and directional awareness. Then I played this
This is beautiful.
1:10:31 that area is connected to this: 2:24, at 2:24 it is in the corner, between the left wall and the wall opposite from where you came from, and drop 9 floors down (hiden “crack” in the wall that requires the blue cube).
Thanks for posting this, I was really stuck on the ball maze :)
@@lilithleblanc1113 I was even looking around for this but then solved up to step 12 remembering the last color that moved it so it wouldnt move back, then just looked up the last ones here because I didnt know if I messed up
Wow. Even after playing this game for 6 hours, watching this now left me utterly confused.
Dude. That was something. Thank you!
Hiding secrets in infinity. Neat.
Amazing run, thanks for this!
Finished 0% thanks to this video. Might as well speed run now... Jesus.
So I think I messed up somewhere around the 43 minute mark, my funny cube decided to just disappear. It wasn't in the item holder where I put it, so idk where it went but I feel robbed. Now I gotta start again, I think, which I'm not really looking forward to.
Great speedrun, great guide. Some of the routes used are just mad. Love the solutions though.
I remember passing by the first secret area on my first run and completely forgot about it
44:53 It is possible (although extremely hard) to pickup a falling cube, by having the switch gravity setting in the menu set to “instant” and time the “grab” button so you pick it up.
Yeah I also did this, but trick is really hard to perform and I usually end up catching the cube and them dropping it again.
Hint : Nowhere Secret
Screw the ball puzzle lol
Thanks, I was completely stuck on the green/yellow sockets near the end
Thank you very much for your video, it helped me immensely.
so the game offers detours. apeedrunner’s dream.
6:52 i hadnt noticed there were 3 blue cubes. I did this with 2 cubes.
Wow you are playing a completely different game
Tremendous work! Thanks

Huh... so there is! I never knew about that. Good work finding it! I swear, I discover new things about this game every time I return...
I LOVE the hidden puzzle section. Really stumped me for a while, I had to step away and come back to it. I kept accidentally backtracking and everything
Edit: I meant the section with the ball towards the beginning lol
That part is awesome, I also love the way they hid it with an optical illusion as well. Did you know you can get to the outside area of the secret ball maze?
It's probably slower, but you can avoid going to the giant moving blocks area entirely by bringing an earlier red cube into the puzzle with two red cubes and a yellow... gravity change beam i guess? and just use the two red cubes to climb the wall/floor with the yellow cube, instead of bringing the dual gravity cube in. I did that and I was pretty confused as to why you were in the giant blocks room at first.
Thank you so much for this!
Great guide, thank you!
Is there a reason for pressing all the buttons when 4 (or sometimes 8) doors open all into the same room (second garden with where you see the tertris blocks for the first time)?
Open them just to be sure you are not stuck on the other side...
Wish this was timestamped with the secret paths
thank you so much for the guide!

This game looks so good in 4:3
I think I fucked up. I was watching a different guide and I placed the rainbow cube in at the end…if I can’t fix it from that save, I ain’t doing this again. Sucks to suck,
Nvm, found that you can “restore” a previous save. Phew! Got the platinum!
This game : *crack my brain*
This guy / girl : Let me introduce myself
Hello! ^_^
Would you say that this run has any true technical challenges, i.e. challenges that require a large amount of practice, vs investigation/exploration? As a exploration/physics puzzler, I wouldn't expect that to be the case, but it all went so fast that it was hard to tell.
Brainfold Garden
Awesome, thank you! :D
400 IQ. this would have been impossible for me without this video.
Okay I was able to do the skip at 19:30 but with the first yellow/green cube in the blue tower instead of the second yellow/green in the red tower. Is there any reason to do this differently?
Edit: The first yellow/green cube was at 14:28
