I love and will love pavement. Nothing really compares even when other bands try to do "pavement".
Thank you SO MUCH for re-uploading this. It was lost on the internet for a few years. I've always loved this performance
ditto. Anyone know who the extra guitarist is? Ie the guy that's not Malkmus, West, Ibold, Nastanovich or Stairs?
Gary Busey is a surprisingly good tambourine player
This is such a hilarious performance hHahaha going so hard!!
I wonder if the contest winner didn't know that they were going to pay this song after Unfair. His playing seems totally random. Gotta love Malkmus though. He's completely unflappable.
Isn't it what suits the song best, though? He also plays the regular parts in the chorus and pre-chorus
A guitarist who won a Pavement contest who likely know how to play Stereo.
Westie can drum!
This is effing awsome 💪🤘🤘🤘
Awesome
Hilarious performance
Bob's Linden Lions hat
NASTANOTRONICS TIME
Seth rogan on drums.
Haley Joel Osment won a contest to play guitar with pavement? Weird.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🐿
I taught my cat to play stereo on his little guitar. He is better than guitarist in the middle but not quite as good as stairs
who's that fellow with IAN written on his t-shirt?
Bob Nastanovich. Malkmus had asked him to play 2nd percussion a year before Gary Young was fired. Pretty sure he was always their tour manager as well.
@@9vbattery297 Yep. He was their manager, synth and keyboard player, and hype man!
Well, at least Jimmy Fallon has some taste.
Fun Comparison: Here's Pavement doing the song when it was brand new on Conan: ua-cam.com/video/GrJyTeuQCzo/v-deo.html
I’m guessing this appearance on Fallon is like an homage to the original on Conan because it was so epic? I remember watching the original when I was a teen and it was the greatest thing ever at the time.
lol one of them doesn’t know the song. Who is that guy anyways 😂😂😂
Man nothing against the extra guitar player but what the hell is he playing??? Pavement rocks, but that was kind of painful to watch
not very good
Ian kind of sucked.
This performance is so slanted and enchanted!
