Thank you so much Lyn 😊 So happy with these grow lights and the amazing growth on the seedlings. It’s cool there’s some variation in how they look, Katherine did say she went crazy with the brush and just pollinated everything haha, so quite a few of them will be hybrids. Thank you so much again Lyn, from Edith & myself to you and Hans, have a wonderful afternoon and evening ❤️🌵☀️🌺🌸🌼🏜

Most are doing well now and are in a grow tent under a more powerful light. Thanks for watching and commenting, have a wonderful day from Edith & myself 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Hi Daz! You grown those from seeds so successfully and they look so healthy bud. The grow lights sure are great. And so many too! There's enough there to get into the place to business. 😊 The shot at around 8.10 look fantastic, especially the variegated gymnos and the flowering Christmas cactus. I hope you and Edith are doing as great as these wonderful cact-lings. Sorry for not dropping by as often, however, you'll are always in my thoughts. From the garden City of India to you and Edith, have a beautiful week. Cheers and God bless!
Thank you so much Carl, good to hear from you again 😊 Yeah the seedlings have done fantastic under these grow lights. Haha yeah there’s going to be a lot of pot fulls when it’s time to transplant these. I will likely give a lot of them away once they’re bigger. Hope to see a new video from you soon too my friend, from Edith & myself, be safe and well and a wonderful day 🌵☀️🌼🌸🌺🏜
Those seedlings have definitely grown huuuuge, Sweetheart! 😍 Really surprising. Seems like it was just last month that you sowed them. 😂 i saw some potential keepers there. Loved the close up shots, as always. Gave us a very clear view of their tiny spines and ribs and colours too. Excited to see these babies grow. Can’t wait for spring when you repot them. The plants are really soaking up these lights’ power. Love these updates! ❤️🤗🥰🥰♾❤️
Thank you my love 🥰 It surprised me too when I cleared some of the condensation on the lids seeing just how much they’ve grown in a short amount of time, I hadn’t seen them properly myself since the last update haha. Definitely some keepers and maybe a possible variegated one you noticed earlier, I missed that one when I recorded them. Can’t say I’m looking forward to separating all these and potting them up in the spring lol, but it’s something that has to be done. Thank you as always babe for all your love, support and encouragement, you are my inspiration ❤️🥰🤗😘♾❤️

@@Cactimania I’m waiting for a couple of Mars hydro ts600 lights to be delivered. Need the extra light indoors. I have most of my collection in a small greenhouse outside. Indoors I definitely need extra light. Do dormant cacti still need a lot of light?
Yeah they still need light in the winter time, just not too much otherwise it can encourage them to continue growing. Others like Aloes, Haworthia, Gasteria etc, are mostly winter growers. 🌵☀️🌺🌼🏜
Wow! All of your Seedlings look fantastic! Cannot believe how much they've all grown and many only sown in July... and those Astrophytum asterias are amazing and the size they've reached already, in such a small amount of time going by the label on tubs... Mine are 6 months old and are same size as yours, but they have only been under my fluorescent white Propagation strip light whole time 🤦♀️... only recently I positioned them under actual grow light after I have more shelves now, (noticed an improved difference 😊)... But excellent video and the footage was so clear with detail even with the water droplets in the way 👌🏻👍🏻😁🌵🌃🌵
Thank you so much Claire 😊 Yeah all the seedlings have done amazingly well, very happy with these grow lights. The Astrophytums have surprised me as well, grown much faster and bigger than the others I’ve grown without grow lights. Wow so amazing 😍🤩 so nice to see those babies 🌵 exciting what the spines of the asterium Paucispinum going to be when it gets older, i love their spines so much. I really like the papschii and gertii, they look similar with the bruchii but with white flower and they’re rarely seen on sale. Love those tiny astros so cute. And what a beautiful pink flowers of that thanksgiving cactus 🌸💗 thank you for sharing this great video, I’m always excited seeing them. Watched it again today haha
Thank you so much Katherine 😊 It’s amazing how much these seedlings have grown. Really looking forward to them getting bigger so we can really see what forms they have. Thank you for watching and commenting, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful day and new week 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
Nice germination! Yeah, my echinopsis are sometimes late to germinate especially since we have unreal hot summers, so some germinate while others hang in there until Autumn to start growing. I see those grow lights do a fantastic job👏💢🌟I use my windowsills in winter to grow my seedlings. Great video and very interesting🙏
Thank you 😊 Always fun growing cacti from seed, some of the ones in this video are huge now and some are already big enough to have their own small pots. Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏻🌵☀️🌼🏜
Hi Papa Daz! All your offsprings are doing really well including some where the moss were taller than the seedling. Do the moss do any harm? Great update of your happy healthy seedlings under that awesome grow light. I'm complaining again, my internet is down. I watched your video with my mobile data but halfway through I lost the connection, paused, waited till there was a signal then continued. It's so difficult without any intenet and I truly wonder how we got through life before computers and internet existed 🤔 Anyway enough of my ramblings but I'm frustrated. Thumbs up on your update. From Malaysia to the UK and Singapore, have a great and safe day. 🙏
Thank you so much, Molly 😊 The moss doesn’t harm the seedlings, I’ve actually heard it’s beneficial and a good indicator of moisture in the pots, if the moss was to turn brown and die off it would mean the soil is drying out, which isn’t good for seedlings. Yeah I often wonder how we managed before haha, or when we had very slow internet connections. Thank you for watching and commenting as always Molly, from Edith & myself, have a wonderful day 🌵☀️🌸🌺🌼🏜
Hi Daz, thanks very much for the info in this video. Especially the data on the height, brightness and length of time you use the growlights is useful for a growlight-newbie like myself. I purchased the SF1000 after seeing the info on your and Lyn's channel, and I moved my seedlings (Astroph mix, Browlingia, Kalanchoe) that I sowed on Aug 27 of this year under the light since about three weeks ago. They were very quick to germinate, within days actually, but the growth has improved noticeably since I put them under the SF. They are a lot smaller than yours though, and I read on your Astroph. label you sowed them on 25 of August. I'm going to start some more seeds in the coming weeks, this time under the SF1000 from the start. Your gymno nat. seedlings don't look greyish brown yet like the mature ones look on photographs? I'm also going to start some Gymno nataliae seeds this month because this plant is my namesake : ) and I finally found them recently. I read that it's a 'difficult plant to cultivate' , whatever that means, so if you've any tips in the future or would do a video on if and how you differentiate care between different desert cacti in terms of light/moisture/dormancy etc, that would be very welcome. Many thanks and good luck with your seedlings! greetings from Dublin, Nathalie
Thank you, Nathalie 😊 Glad this video has been useful to you and that’s awesome you now have a Spider Farmer SF1000 😃 With most of the seedlings, especially the Gymnos, they are all likely hybrids as they were from Katherine Price and she just went crazy with the pollination on all her Gymnos haha. This could be why the nataliae seedlings look different, they are probably not pure. I have a more mature one that I bought earlier in the year that was much darker in colour but since it was moved indoors it’s taken on a more greenish colour, so it’s likely down to the amount of light/heat with their colour, as it is with a lot of other cacti and succulents. I wouldn’t say it’s hard to cultivate, the care for that Gymno is pretty much the same as other Gymnos, although it is considered one of the more slower growing species. I will definitely do some care tips on Gymnos in the future, as they are one of my favourites. Thank you for watching and commenting, have a wonderful day and upcoming weekend 🌵☀️🌼🌺🏜
@@Cactimania Makes sense that 'slow growing' is what they meant. I look forward to a video about Gymno care. Kind regards to Edith and you!

There is an error in the text towards the end of the video regarding the hanging height of the SF600, it's meant to be 22 inches not 20. My apologies.
