This is such a happy journal. I come from the quilting world and I have a 3’ X 6’ counter height table covered with a cutting mat. I cut, glue, etc., standing at this table. Do most of you sit while making journals? Something interesting I discovered yesterday. I’m a perfectionist and usually not happy with my efforts but in looking back at my earlier JOY projects, I’m actually quite happy with them. I’m learning so much from your tutorials Amanda, thanks again for all you do. At 84-1/2 years young, am I your oldest follower?

A lot of us in U.K. sit at a standard desk height to craft. I can see standing for fabric crafts is way better. The amount of hours I craft I couldn’t stand that long ha ha .. but when I move to my next home I hope to have a standing height island table in the middle I think it would be very helpful. In general in U.K. houses are quite small compared to say in USA so not many have the space .. So lovely to have you here not sure if you are the oldest we will have do do a poll ha ha . Thanks so much for taking time to watch xxx

It’s really good how you cover for all stages of crafting ability, I’ve started doing the inlay cutting to add tuck spots in my albums. I’m in the middle of making a rather large album for my daughter trying to get it finished (Christmas) and I’ve taken ideas from you and this lady called Kathy King from paper phenomenon you are both amazing ladies with great wealth of knowledge and ideas ❤

Hi Amanda, thank you for explaining your process. I always give myself too many options for choosing papers it seems. You make me see how I can improve my process.
