Yes guys this video is ALL about our attempt to completely sort, tidy, declutter, reorganise and maximise the storage space in our catastrophe of a SHED!!! So, Sunday started with a sea check swiftly followed by the BIG SHED TIDY which took the entire day, with help from TEAM Sullivan of course 😁 Did we finish it all? That would be completely overwhelming to me. My policy is if I haven't used it in a year, I can live without it. That's how I keep a handle on "accumulating stuff".
I would keep the old shed for bikes/scooters n things that will be okay if they got wet. Then get another shed for everything else

I would look at doing some repair work to that shed and use it for scooters, prams, beach stuff and tools. Then get another shed for garden equipment .
Airflow is definitely important.

I have solved my accumulation of stuff by if I haven’t used it for 2 years it’s gone I was ruthless but so happy with totally declutter

cut some wholes at the top of the peak of the walls near the highest point and put some metal vents in on both sides - you need airflow - If you want/need additional sheds all good but don't get rid of the one that is there - your weather for most of the year is wet and even those bikes and outside toys could do with being under cover or a play area on a warm but rainly day
we invested in the large plastic sheds quite expensive but well worth it no leaks and no mould 6 years we have had ours and still the same. just an idea x
You all worked very hard. I hope you feel satisfied. I love it when I have completed a chore that has been on my mind for a while. Only trouble is when you complete one task another one comes to your notice! 😂

Zoe. You are so right about car seats. No matter how clean you think they are mould will attack the fabric. Safety is the 100% top priority. Like you I have spent a fortune over the years on car seats but never regretted making sure the children’s health and safety wasn’t compromised. We have these plastic composite sheds not cheap but have lasted twice as long as wooden ones. Stand the tents in plastic tubs to keep the bottom of them off the shed floor. Years of army moves with only wooden MFO boxes allowed, I learnt to not keep things that have not been used or liked.

You guys make my day. I have to have a giggle to myself because I know there are a lot of you but there are so many spare plastic boxes. I don’t think I have seen so many apart from in shops selling boxes. 😂 one thing I would do is get a small shed just for garden tools.🥰
Hi Ben zoe oh I wouldn't get rid of the plastic box's that zoe bought if the are any boxes left when uou have used some of them id sell them or donate to the school you've done a great job with the shed love to all fran xxxx
I would re-roof and re-felt the shed. Perhaps add drain pipes to it. A shed that size would be very expensive. Cardboard can add to the dampness in there. Dehumidifier would help.

Ben and Zoe amazing work done today. Ye must be so happy, having that done. I have to do the same as you did but I have to hire a skip first and then empty my shed and sort it out. Then I have to sort the grass it has grown so tall and my poor dogs are getting lost in it. Seeing what you have achieved in one day, is giving me the incentive to tackle mine. Fingers crossed and weather permitting, as Ireland is the same as Scotland. Love to all

Could you not do a bit of repair on the shed & paint it all with a waterproof coating & keep all the bikes scooters & the like save them from going rusty & away. Also keep as much of the floor like the tent put it in something like a thick plastic bag.. You do need some airflow as well.. Maybe just get a smaller shed for the garden & electrical items.. But good job guys.. x

And put some wood around the frame inside on plastic like staple it or nail etc jus a suggestion.. we did this when I was younger in our house windows

What a mess, looks like our garage. We have a pathway to walk in our two car garage cause it's full of stuff we need to sort out. I walk out there and get overwhelmed but it has to be done. Hopefully this summer we'll get it done.
Spiders are amazing around the house and sheds they kill fruit flies, mosquitoes etc etc, I keep big tarantulas and they are so amazing so please don’t kill any spiders. September/ October the spiders come in to procreate don’t put them outside just remember they are more afraid of us!
I can’t wait to see more spring cleaning, my hubby just said that you can have all that stuff as you have an XL family, we have sheds that full and there is only four of us, living in Wales is the same as Scotland lots of rain one of our sheds was leaking we but the big plastic sheds, we will keep them now and my eldest wants them when we die although getting them to Japan wouldn’t be cheap! ❤❤❤

Have you thought about plastic sheds there not cheap but they last a lot longer than wooden ones . We got ours from bq

Amazing that you all helped out with the shed sorting~ gets done that much quicker and then doesn't seem like such a task!
With that size garden, I would buy 4 sheds and place them all along 1 side of the garden fencing .. 2 for storage, 1 for Isabel and her baking equipment, 1 for the kiddies to have an outside den, plus storage for dress up & toys etc.
An expensive purchase but long term worth it, you could free up so much space in the house 😊
