Ayyyye nice man! The Infamous platinum is a really fun experience for the most part. There are definitely some tedious aspects to it, even technically missable trophy which is irritating as hell, there was a specific stunt challenge which required you to kill an enemy with a certain electric bolt attack type and send them flying like 3 or 5 metres off of a rooftop, trouble is the enemy only spawns on rooftops in a few missions, maybe only one mission. If you were like me and didn’t know this beforehand, you had to reload an earlier save and lost HOURS of progress just to go back and complete that challenge so you could unlock the trophy for completing all 25 stunt challenges. Super fun game for the most part though, and an amazing platinum experience, there really just aren’t any superhero/supervillain games that let you play as a character who has electricity based powers, which is probably because there aren’t even many comic book characters who have such powers lol. Going back a long way here, but If I’m remembering correctly, Infamous was my 24th platinum, if not, then certainly my 25th, I earned it towards the end of high school, it was the second last plat I earned in high school. I’ve really slowed down since then hahaha, quite stagnant like many others. I earned my 31st last month, it was GTA V, only took me 10 years and 10 months, as well as approximately 3000 hours of playtime, of course, this isn’t how long it actually took me to get the trophies (though that also took ages in its own right, GTA V and RDR2 are notoriously hugely time consuming plats, typically requiring a minimum of 200 hours each. I’ve always been an on and off fan of the online mode, it’s one hell of a mixed bag but the parts which are actually fun are EXTREMELY fun, I’ve made some beautiful and hilarious memories and made over 200 friends playing the game alone, and am currently rank 638. As of exactly today, my online character is 11 years old, I’ve been playing the game for a ridiculously long time, I’m undeniably a completely different person all these years later, we all are actually, even on a molecular level, as every cell in our bodies is replaced approximately every 7 years. 2013 really does feel like a lifetime ago, another lifetime, somebody else’s. It’s like it’s so long ago now that I can barely even view that version of myself as a version of me, it’s true what they say, father time stops for nobody, from that species of butterfly which is infamous for having a lifespan of just 24 hours, to the Galapagos Tortoise which has can live for over 250 years, all things kneel before the indifferent and indiscriminate endless savagery of the ticking clock.
Dude, as soon as you mentioned the Valkyrie fight and dropping the difficulty i was right there with you - i tried and tried and hated giving in but dropping the difficulty was the only way i could do it, that fight was bonkers but even on lower difficulty was rewarding to overcome
I never had to lower the difficulty. Because I already played on the lowest difficulty. Still took me about 30 tries till I beat it. I don't know what's wrong with me...
My hardest plat so far has been FF7 Rebirth. Took me like 160+ hours, but I loved that game to pieces, so it was worth the time! ❤ Love your videos Nick, congrats on 150 Plats!

Super impressive list, I've got 85 from fairly recent date not sure what I had on my old accounts. Only platinum I've done that I consider really hard was Nioh + DLC love to see you suffer through that one day. The souls games are a cake walk in comparison.
Ever since i started watching your videos on hard platinums its inspired me to go for hard platinums myself and personally the hardest one ive done so far is crash 4 mainly cause of the n.sainely perfect relics

I’m at 56 platinums at the moment. Currently working on The Witcher 3, which is my favourite game of all time, so I’m loving the journey so far. Very impressive trophy list. Much better than mine.
The card collector trophy is a grind man. For me i forgot wich merchant i already played gwent with and won so i had to challenge every single person where you can get a card from again and damn that was a grind

@@CapSher I agree. I feel most people when thinking of COD Ghost is the multiplayer, and forget about what the rest of the game had to offer. Multiplayer was not great, no one can disagree besides the lil mischievous campers. HOWEVER, The campaign was extremely good. Extinction was a new take on a 'Zombie' mode and was a ton of fun. Underrated game. Overrated when it comes to hate.

You were the first Platinum Hunter i discovered on UA-cam. Your Crash 4 Video inspired me so i began trophy hunting in June 2023 or something. I even created a new PSN Acc, which i use for Platinums ONLY. I always say that EVERYTHING that will be played there, i MUST get the Plat - not always the 100%, but the plat. For the Rest i have my main acc - especially for multiplayer games or games where I know that i would never play it for the plat. Currently working on the new Life is Strange: Double Exposure (i love the series)
@beefchopstick thanks man, idk if you played it already by Yourself, but there is a trophy called "Frame Fatale" Where you have to get all Snapshots - and well.. this is the last trophy i need and Its giving me huuuge frustration, cause the tracking in this game is just so bad and collectibles can be so buggy, that you Can't Tell if the game saved/counted it or not
@beefchopstick I already did like 3, 3,5 or whatever how many playtroughs, started backtracking via chapter select, which is horrible in this game, cause it seems so... you just can't trust it. When I started this account back in last summer I set the rule, that I won't be playing something else (on plat acc) until I got a plat for a game. It just annoys me when those little trophy icons aren't lined up all from one game, if I would start another one and mix them together, while normally haven't finished my previous one. And god this LiS is pissing me off. It feels like playing without knowing if I'm making progress

i have the platinum for Sackboy, i’ve always been a huge fan of LBP games and i decided to go for Sackboy’s trophy when i realized that it’s basically free (unlike other LBP games whose platinums require multiplayer trophies, which, well aren’t possible anymore) so watching your Sackboy platinum video was pretty fun

btw when you earn dlc trophies for a game while playing casually it will be pushed further up on your trophy list which explains why rocket league and gta 5 (2015 platinums) were in the middle of the 2018 platinums

i'm not the most skilled gamer so i always have mad respect for people when they do these harder games, personally i hold no grudges for people who use things like cloud saves, difficulty changes or heck even the hollow knight glitch. personally my hardest rated platinum is fallout 4 though i think i'm personally most proud of the ghostbusters platinum. the run where you have to get as little property damage as possible was pretty challanging for my skill level

I earned my 31st last month, it was GTA V, only took me 10 years and 10 months, as well as approximately 3000 hours of playtime, of course, this isn’t how long it actually took me to get the trophies (though that also took ages in its own right, GTA V and RDR2 are notoriously hugely time consuming plats, typically requiring a minimum of 200 hours each.
I’ve always been an on and off fan of the online mode, it’s one hell of a mixed bag but the parts which are actually fun are EXTREMELY fun, I’ve made some beautiful and hilarious memories and made over 200 friends playing the game alone, and am currently rank 638.
As of exactly today, my online character is 11 years old, I’ve been playing the game for a ridiculously long time, I’m undeniably a completely different person all these years later, we all are actually, even on a molecular level, as every cell in our bodies is replaced approximately every 7 years.
2013 really does feel like a lifetime ago, another lifetime, somebody else’s. It’s like it’s so long ago now that I can barely even view that version of myself as a version of me, it’s true what they say, father time stops for nobody, from that species of butterfly which is infamous for having a lifespan of just 24 hours, to the Galapagos Tortoise which has can live for over 250 years, all things kneel before the indifferent and indiscriminate endless savagery of the ticking clock.
Dude, as soon as you mentioned the Valkyrie fight and dropping the difficulty i was right there with you - i tried and tried and hated giving in but dropping the difficulty was the only way i could do it, that fight was bonkers but even on lower difficulty was rewarding to overcome

I never had to lower the difficulty. Because I already played on the lowest difficulty. Still took me about 30 tries till I beat it. I don't know what's wrong with me...

The card collector trophy is a grind man. For me i forgot wich merchant i already played gwent with and won so i had to challenge every single person where you can get a card from again and damn that was a grind

Multiplayer was not great, no one can disagree besides the lil mischievous campers. HOWEVER, The campaign was extremely good. Extinction was a new take on a 'Zombie' mode and was a ton of fun. Underrated game. Overrated when it comes to hate.

You were the first Platinum Hunter i discovered on UA-cam. Your Crash 4 Video inspired me so i began trophy hunting in June 2023 or something. I even created a new PSN Acc, which i use for Platinums ONLY. I always say that EVERYTHING that will be played there, i MUST get the Plat - not always the 100%, but the plat. For the Rest i have my main acc - especially for multiplayer games or games where I know that i would never play it for the plat. Currently working on the new Life is Strange: Double Exposure (i love the series)

@beefchopstick I already did like 3, 3,5 or whatever how many playtroughs, started backtracking via chapter select, which is horrible in this game, cause it seems so... you just can't trust it. When I started this account back in last summer I set the rule, that I won't be playing something else (on plat acc) until I got a plat for a game. It just annoys me when those little trophy icons aren't lined up all from one game, if I would start another one and mix them together, while normally haven't finished my previous one. And god this LiS is pissing me off. It feels like playing without knowing if I'm making progress

i have the platinum for Sackboy, i’ve always been a huge fan of LBP games and i decided to go for Sackboy’s trophy when i realized that it’s basically free (unlike other LBP games whose platinums require multiplayer trophies, which, well aren’t possible anymore) so watching your Sackboy platinum video was pretty fun

Same here. I didn't take Trophy-hunting seriously until the end of 2013. My 1st ever Platinum was Resident Evil 5. 2nd ever Platinum was Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus in the new year.

My hardest platinium is probably Crash Team Racing - I suck at racing games😅, bo I'm a fan of Crash so ofc i played it. I almost gave up, but I accidentally found your video (don't remember which one) and it inspired me to try harded and I finally finished that game.

Love a long video! I don't think I have any hard platinum, but my favorite platinum is God of War 3. I got it a couple months ago even though I've had it for years, but that was when I didn't enjoy being a completionist
