Yeah , sakuno in the anime didn't get as big a role as I thought she would I don't think she appears in the live action show, so it's great to see she plays a bigger role

This drama can relate to each one of us, in another way. - My love and interest in this drama series make me subscribe to Netflix so, I can watch its 40 episodes! - Peng Yu Chang as Lu Xia and Ireine Song as Qi Ying brought justice to their roles, with deeper passions and emotions. - Its storyline is about friendship + sport's teamwork and their journey in completing their dreams and aspirations in their lives. - The main and secondary casts each face a variety of obstacles that they work together to overcome and triumph on it. - This is a beautiful drama on the love and passion for tennis games and how the casts struggled to be trained and to focus on each sporting competition. That there is always a lesson to learn here: "Nothing is Impossible for those who Persists!" - I highly recommend this "Prince of Tennis" to be watch and re-watch, especially for those with a deeper love for tennis games - And hopefully - we look forward to its Season 2 and to continue watching the development of the same casts who were fitted to act for their roles with a perfect re-creation of correct emotions. - Enjoy this highly addictive drama series of "Prince of Tennis"
I might watch this show just for these additional scenes. Ryoma and Sakuno in the original anime did not have nearly enough screentime. Even if the manga author did supposedly confirm in an interview that they were endgame when they got older.
I stopped watching after the first 5mn. They were feeding too much Chinese patriotism into the first episode. It wouldn't of been bad on its own but when you add in the fact the series is not only originally Japanese but that the original didn't try to feed the same bull well...
I did not watch it having that in mind, but wow I was pleased. They change many interaction that to me where rude and also showed how Sakuno (in the cdrama) was very awared on how Ryoma was way to focused on tennis, and she was okay with it. Like when Ryoma got hurt and she rush without a second thought and he was like "out ! " but in this drama evrything was so well done. Not sure if its a Chinese influenced thing or that times are different. But I was very grateful for all of this moments
I'm planning to watch it for these scenes as well! I want to see how their relationship will develop since theyre endgame accdg to the mangaka plus that drawing when theyre 23 in the magazine! For now we only have the chapter when they went on a date so I wanna see some other cute interactions too 😍

This ryoma version peng yuxang and kanata hongo(japanese version) are the best 2 ryoma echizen live action that i love. That facial expressions are impeccable!!!!! The sempais are lovable too
What I love from this drama is that the production managed to convey the current relationship between Ryoma and Sakuno, Ryoma is now more aware and protective of her in the manga, believe it or not, so seeing their current interactions on live action was so good ❤

In anime Ryoma is a smart boy, in academics and in sports. The Seigaku boys are all smart, except maybe for Momo-chan senpai and Kikumaru. I think the study scene is for filler
