All your videos are radical ! All of them never stop
Man !
This was so inspiring..thank you ..you are a fabulous teacher!!
thanks mario!
Always nice to revisit these older videos when I completely forgot the song.
you're supposed to be drumming. or making breakfast.
@@RyanLendt I’m doing both as I type this and re-learn Down
Great stuff as usual. Thank you so much. Congrats on your new Tele
Thanks Nick! Turns out to be a '94 mexican tele with fender noiseless pickups installed. Got it for only $300, seems like a deal to me!
You're awesome man , doing this
That was awesome, I love that song!
I love that song too :) thank you Richard.
Hey Ryan, thanks for going through this on the live stream Sunday. This was the first song I tried to play when I first picked up a guitar in 2002 so it has good memories for me. I think I took two or three lessons and played every once in a while for years. This January I started taking weekly lessons and I've stayed dialed in with practicing the guitar all year so far. Your videos get me excited to learn to play a lot of my favorite songs. You make it fun and easy to learn and I appreciate that.
it's a privilege Scott, thank you for being a positive and active voice here :) How did I do Sunday vs. what it really turned out to be?
You nailed it. As best I can tell the only thing different was the guitar you were playing. I love playing those quick bursts of notes in between chords. It makes the song more fun.
Love this song!!!! Thanks Ryan!!!
you're welcome Louise!!!
Dude your on a roll! Like butter!!! Another insanely good lesson. Looks like I will have a very busy weekend learning these songs
How's it going over there? :)
All good thanks! Got PT, Gone and Down... well, down. Cool! My son is studying for finals then after tomorrow he's playing everyday on his Les Paul. He pledges to learn all your lessons
Nice job Ryan - love your style of teaching! A great underplayed PJ song - saw them crush it live at Fenway last summer. BTW - still waiting for you to do Thumbing my way! Lol
Tim from north of Boston
Howdy Tim! TBH I keep forgetting to bring my acoustic to work to do that one!!! But it's on the top of the list :) and thanks for the kind words :)
Thanks Ryan, great lesson!
Thanks Garrett!!
YES!
haha pre thumbnails!
The Dumb and Dumber quote made me smile
Hi Keith
Hi Ryan, not sure if this is where I can request a song but I would really love if you could do a lesson on Holly Roller - Mother Love Bone please
That's how it's done! Thank you for the request Louise, it's on the list :)
Respect ! #PearlJamLoversAreTheBest
I wholeheartedly agree :)
I have tried and tried and tried to get this tone out of my guitar. Unsuccessfully.
that guitar has fender noiseless pickups in it (which i love) and i'm playing through my blues jr. with no working reverb. the no working reverb part is crucial to the sound.
Teach us No Ceiling - EDDIE VEDDER
niiiiiice one! It's on the list :)
Let's represent Mike McCready! How about Inside Job?
excellent thought process amigo. on the list :)
I cannot stop listening to bullet trains. you should do a ukulele video. maybe like an acoustic type thing. it would be great!
well shux Ben, that comment was an honor to read. A sincere and heartfelt thank you for that :) I shall definitely oblige, look for it next :)
PM me a mailing address and I'll send you some goodies :) No pressure, but if you feel comfortable with that!
That would be awesome! How do I PM you?
haha i have no idea... i know people PM me but i can't find out how to initiate it! send me an email ryanlendt@gmail.com :)
more lost dog....how about SAD?
yessss that song is awesome. I think that's two or three for sad :)
Do u think u could teach us mfc and untitled
lovely dual request! I'll do those in the same vid cause that's how it's often played live :)
Yes great request
Legit lesson but your audio is getting worse!!!!!!! What do you record on? A phone?
Haha I just love your feedback Junior :) Yeah I thought I'd try it on the phone vs the iPad because I think my phone has a better camera than the iPad... what would you suggest?
Yeah I am pretty straight forward. Honestly still working on recording setup for my channel. I used my Canon Vixia HFS20 camcorder with a Canon shotgun mic and I thought it sounded just as good as using a mic and mixing board setup. I have not used the mixer a lot though to record guitar, it was my old podcast setup. Funny thing is people don't seem to care really on your videos, we learn the song regardless of the audio quality.
Yeah, thinking about getting a nicer setup is certainly in the back of my mind, but it seems to be getting the job done as is, so I shall defer for a while longer :) thanks for the recommendation!
Doesn't your amp on my left, your right have a USB output for recording? Then again maybe just keep it ghetto recording and sound quality and when you have like a million subscribers people will be like "damn he has the most ghetto sound but the biggest lesson channel on youtube!" lol Don't think it matters either way since we learn from your vids and they are pretty entertaining too. P.S.....don't become a Patreon beggar like all the other channels, everyone hates that crap.
