As someone who works for BAM, I have a little insight into how the sale actually works and it’s a bit unfortunate. Basically, suppliers give our company a certain number of items we can discount and once that quota has been met, the sale ends. Nobody knew how long the sale was going to last (even the managerial team at my work) until the last second when they made us announce it was the final day. It causes a lot of confusion for some people because they don’t know how long they actually have to take advantage of the deal for. For me, I didn’t get to take advantage of it because I was waiting for the next time I went into work, but the time was up just the day prior. As manga has grown more popular, that aforementioned quota has been getting hit quicker, meaning that the sale has been lasting less and less especially in the last couple of years or at least that’s how I understand it. As for if they’ll increase that number by a large margin the next time around, who knows.

I’ve read the 3rd volume of DanDaDan and I can see where you are coming from. To be honest, I don’t really care for the creepy McCarthy doll aliens. I do enjoy the ghost designs though.

@@DanielPeppers it’s the second bestseller of all time only beaten by one piece, it is also out of print in the us, I got lucky and found it at a local store, I will let you know what I think
