September 1994. I just turned 16. I listen to the local rock radio station every night. Pantera, Metallica, AIC, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Tool, Megadeth, whatever. Out of nowhere I'm half asleep with my Walkman and headphones on and i hear ARE YOU READY!?!?!? and the riff comes in -- mind blown. That weekend I drive down to Wherehouse Records, and spend 30 minutes looking for a song or album by the band "CORE" based on what I thought I heard the DJ say... fml. Finally some other kid kicks in on his board, and hears me talking to the lady at the register.. "Oh you mean KORN!" And thats how I ended up with my love of KoRn for so many years.
That’s great

Beautiful story! Such a bless!
I’m a 43 yr old mother of a 20 and 17 yr old. I’ve always listened to a lot of different music. I will listen to anything, any genre as long as it sounds good to the ear. I’ve listened to Korn for over 20 yrs. Their music always spoke to me and my internal struggle. Music was, and often times, still is, one of the few things that help me deal with daily life and all the shit I can’t control. Both my kids were listening to Korn in the womb! Now they both have a very broad taste in music. Nothing makes me more proud. They now listen to everything under the sun and we all just sit around and share music and vibe. I love that. Share music with your kids. Listen to their music and LISTEN TO YOUR KIDS! Be to them what you never had.

Still one of the best openings to a song ever.
Unfortunately this song is kind of a rip off of Too Many Puppies.
+Frank Mullins not really I mean the riff is kinda, I am an avid primes fan and recently found Korn and this song is way heavier and the too many puppies riff is similar but be honest do you think Korn ripped off Primus :/
I love that the movie Charlie's Angels, used it as their entrance tune. This track is, next to Clown, is my top favorite Korn classic!
I agree
I fell asleep on my arrrrrrrmmmmm! :D
The adidas tracksuits. The cornrows. The bagpipes. The eyebrow rings, jumpsuits and janitor shirts. And the clipped drumming , paired with spasmic convulsing body moves while clutching the mic for dear life, lock-jawed and eyes squeezed shut... all while the power comes out so heavy and emotional... good old oldschool Korn Man U gotta love it 🤘🏻❤️

+Francois Delamarque. Its korns first song
Tommy This is not korn first song. They did multiple songs before this I have the demo tape of. There was actually another version of this they had to re record. I actually think Need To was the first song they wrote together which also sounds nothing like the original.
Trip Mcneely have also heard Need To was the first but not 100% sure. Def not this though!
