I know right. Hammerite holds up better than waxoil I think. 👍

Sorry to see that. I would have used the same bodge on my pipes had the red grease not worked. Mind you, I'm living in fear now that my pipes might blow off! Anyway, 'Jugs' is just back from welding. I'll put a film together from the piccies the welder sent me. My condenser was blocked with fluff and the fan seized, that's why I reckoned the auto-box overheat light came on.

Looking at it more closely the pipe I cut was a bit long and a had a slight kink so maybe that's why it blew? Condenser and fan can wait for a bit longer I now have a battery light on so looks light I'm changing the alternator. How hard are they to do pal?

@@deanshortland7194 If you have some fan removal spanners it's not as bad as it looks. I took the whole bracket off needlessly. Just undo the big star bolt then unfasten the power wires when you pull the alternator froward. I put some hardboard in front of the radiator fins to prevent damage. If I can do it then anybody can! Mine has the 10p engine. Don't know how much difference that makes if you have the 15p one.

The air con fans seize up from water getting in and not evaporating. The new fans are £99 last time I looked so I got a generic 12” fan off e bay and made up some brackets so it bolted in with the standard holes it’s been working on mine for a year and still works. it was nice having the air con in Yorkshire moors and dales last weekend. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work with the videos.

Hiya pal. I know jgs 4x4 has them in stock complete with brackets etc for about £110 but I shall look in to the cheaper ones.👍

Noticed you using heras blocks under your wheels. Do you drive straight onto them or jack up each corner and slot them under? Thinking of getting some for mine so I can do the gearbox fluid so it's level.

Jack up and slide under wheels. You can also try driving on them in low box

Have you got a link for the cooler and the pipes? Can’t seem to find them on the website you mentioned
