Hanson bring their signature pop-rock sound to Weezer's surly hit "Troublemaker" in the latest installment of Billboard's Mashup Mondays. Filmed and recorded live at Billboard Studios, NYC.
Well i gotta say that i am a big Weezer Fan i half heartedly watched this and all i can say is WOW! HANSON IS AWSOME! they defenatly put a ton of effort into covers from their favorite bands! it's not hard to see their musical influences in their work!

also they have done covers by Journey, Bill Withers Janis Joplin, Chuck Berry, The beatles, just to name a few :) their very under rated in the music industry and for this record, seems they are getting the respect they deserve!
VERY UNDERRATED!!! I've been a fan since I learned to read their lyrics! The only person who loves them more than I do is my mom, who introduced me to Mmmbop.

I'm a Weezer fan for life. I liked Give a little by Hanson. But this is their best work in my opinion

People have this idea that when a band covers another that their intentions are to surpass the original song. Covers show that you're a fan of the band being covered and want to pay tribute to them.
Mmmmmm... Could I possibly love them anymore? They do some of the best covers.
Enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I've seen Hanson live back in 2001 and they're still as good as they were then, if not better :)

No joke, they could probably do a kick ass Nirvana cover! I think people laugh at the idea of them doing harder rock, but like.... they've long since proven that they've got the goods to pull it off! Cool cover! Really Hansonish... the guys don't try to copy Weezer, they add their own cool style to the songs. Guess they're just too nice to sing it with all the original words xD Are Weezer gonna cover Hanson?

The bass only plays during the verses. So, there's almost no bass and it still sounds good. I know how important the bass is in rock music. I'm a musician, and I like to learn about music recording, so yeah, I think I know how important bass can be.

The lyric differences are intentional, I think. It's the "marrying a bitch" and "come to bed with me" lines, so it's for editing for content purposes. When they did this at one of their shows they got the lyrics right.
you should really check out their covers by Radiohead, Optimistic and Living on a prayer by bon jovi... they rocked! also check out their lastest songs from their new CD Anthem, fired up and you cant stop us... one of their heavier songs off the new CD
