Where the Nickelback fans at?
nowhere I guess 🤔😅
Here. Maybe not fan of their newer outputs but the first four albums are amazing.
I’ll be honest, their album All the Right Reasons is almost entirely bangers
RIGHT HERE
I saw them at the Missouri state fair a couple decades ago! It was a fantastic show, very high energy. I am not ashamed to say I like Nickelback. Listen to, To bad and Feeling way to damn good.
How You Remind Me is a fucking banger and I WILL die on that hill
Yes and Too Bad
I like hero
The Betrayal Act III is a fantastic song. Once you stray away from the singles you get to the real good stuff
I was coming here to say the same!
San Quentin sounds heavy af at first and then it’s just your average hard rock song for the rest of it lol
Which is just fine
It’s actually got a sick rift all the way through tho
The problem with this is that the most streamed songs by Nickelback (and any rock band) are gonna be the softer more radio friendly ones that more people are gonna listen too. To get into any band you have to listen to the full albums and find the songs that are not ‘popular’ cause they’re the ones that slap
Try older ones like "Leader of Men", "Worthy to say" or "Breathe".
Leader Of Men is so fucking good
I grew up hearing Nickelback on the radio and liked a few deeper cuts like figured you out. Also, you look like you could be in nickelback 😉😂
Either The Betrayal Act 3 or This Means War. Two of their heaviest and it shows they can write something heavy if they’re in the mood
I don't normally go out of my way to listen to them, but if they're in the dad rock playlist they're staying on
Side of a Bullet was written for what happened to Dimebag, the was actually Dimebag outtakes
How You Remind Me? and Side of a Bullet with the Dimebag solo is pure 🔥.
Nickleback has aged so well in the post-radio era. When we're all on Spotify and can listen to what we wanna listen to any time, when the radio wasn't always playing their radio friendly ballads. it's so much better. When you're waiting for the new Disturbed track in high school and hear the opening tune of Photograph... oh the memes are justified.
Silver Side Up is their best album
I’d rather listen to Nickleback on repeat than listen to a minute of Wage Wars new album.
I never listened to Nickelback but later have listened all of their albums from their first one from 1996 (which is their most different compared to the rest) to their 2017 album and i must say i actually like their music. There's no such thing as guilty pleasure people should just be proud of what they like and just fuck the rest if they don't like it!
Why is your Chad voice impersonation so on point? Birb...are u a secret Chad?!
Im really getting into the Follow Me Home at the moment. Love the beginning with sick drum lick
The Betrayal (Act III) and Feed the Machine are the only Nickleback songs I like
In my opinion “because of you” is their heaviest song! Listen to it! Lmk!!
I was looking for this comment
I think so too. Flat on the floor is also heavy stuff. Actually the whole "The Long Road" album is the heaviest thing they did in my opinion
Need to hear because of you 🤘
Leader of Men, Never Again, How You Remind Me & Too Bad are bangers. That’s all the credit I’ll give them.
I would personally say the best Nickelback song is "Good Times Gone" it's the last song off the same album as How You Remind Me (Silver Side Up) it fellow Canadian musician Ian Thornley of the band Big Wreck on the guitar, mostly playing slide. The guitar is fantastic on the song, Ian is a hell of a performer. Anyway, I would say that's their best song.
Nickelback is one of my favorite bands of all time. No cap.
This Means War is a banger, gotta check that one out Birb!
The only reason I hated them so much back in the day was cause they were on the radio/TV music channels every 5 god damn minutes. Couldn't get away from them in the early-mid 2000's. Now that they're not overplayed to shit, I've learned to appreciate a lot of their songs. I still can't listen to How You Remind Me or Rockstar though, I've heard enough of those to last me 10 lifetimes.
Nickleback are one of those bands that I stopped listening to since Silver Side Up but when I go back to have another listen, they're always so solid! Like I wish I stayed on the train. The Long Road is actually such a great album
Honestly one of my favorites if not my favorite concert I've ever been to
Nickelback fan here: I respect your opinion, not a fan of it, but I respect it. If you get the chance though, go see them live, Nickelback live is a whole other animal.
I know its not their song, but nickelback did do a banger of a cover of devil went down to Georgia.
Taking your Canadian citizenship Birb lol
Now its Creed's turn, lol
As a millennial, it was more so me listening to the CD nonstop in high school, then... hearing every single song, over and over on the radio for the next few years. It led to a lot of long, drawn out disdain
Leader of Men and Old Enough
SAVIN ME IS THERE BEST SONG CANT BELIEVE ITS NOT HERE
Nickelback is a great band
Something in Your Mouth is a Banger. They had an album cut called Must Be Nice that is a banger. I like them. Great Live band. I don't know many people that say they are the best ever, but they are better than their critics give them credit for.
Rockstar is really the only song by them that's a "big hit" that I absolutely despise.
also no one has said it but feed the machine is a pretty sick tune aswell
i am very much on the side of "Nickelback is overhated", i still don't love em, but yeah they get WAY more hate than they deserve
(Snail here)
It’s like, you had to listen to them through the years they stood out the most. If you just started listening to them or are new, yeahhhhh, definitely not going to care much for them
Hey, sometimes you just need to rock out to a good ol Nickelback tune 😂
Man, I remember when a track like Because of You was one of the heaviest things I'd ever heard.
Their deeper cuts are better than their singles. The Long Road is an overall pretty solid rock album and Feed the Machine also has a lot of highlights.
I didn't like them back in the day but my dad took me to see them live back in 2017 and it made me a fan.
I think their best tracks are the non hits from The Long Road and Silver Side Up.
That comedian was Brian Posehn, and he appeared in the first episode of The Mandalorian, which made me lose my poo. He's metal god tier. He also appears in the Red Fang vid for "Wires."
The reason I disliked Nickelback was because it during the safe era in the early 2000s that in Toledo, and Time Mag saying we were the next scene, so we thought we made it, but they went with the corpo rock instead. Highlights though, was the song you played that Dimebag played on (if you didn't know, I'll send you on that adventure.) Also, "Rockstar" reminds me how much 2008 sucked, which came to its zenith this year. Cheers, Birb.
Ummmmm their first album is iconic . Coin for the ferryman , because of you , where do I hide … classics
They know what they're making.. nothing wrong with Nickelback
Feed the machine is a banger
I will be 100% honest..they have some ok music..i cant totally shit on them😂
They were pretty big, made a ton of marketing cash... their song was featured on WWE and movies.
They cashed out.
Out of all of the shows I've been to and played, Nickleback with my parents when I was like 14 was one of the funnest haha their popular songs suck but they have some hidden bangers for sure. Can't hate on them, shit worked and they have a lot more money than I do because of it hahaha
The only songs that I kinda like are Hero (thanks to Josey Scott) and Too Bad 😀
flat on the floor and believe or not from the album the long road are legit
Gotta do this with imagine dragons next lol
Nickelback, nothing but bangers
There was a good decade or more where they just saturated the market with their music. Every bar you went to, someone was playing them. They were all over the radio all the time, even the stations that only play top 40 music. Their music videos were played constantly. Between 2001 and 2011, you could not escape Nickelback. Even though I don't think they suck, the level of saturation that we were subjected to was enough to leave a bad taste in poeples mouths so I always understood the disdain people had for them.
dark horse a solid album burn it to the grown sex this is how you remind me an for All the right reason album a banger to dude long road album an here an now all solid banger albums dude I grew up listening to them they are my go to band bro get on board metalbirb l love nickeback fan forever
You missed Because Of YOUUUU
If you ever go back. Coin for the ferryman is a slapper
Really enjoyed the first album and a couple subsequent singles but nickleback lost me real quick lol.
they write great songs but their early stuff genuinely was good shit ...everything they write now is kinda dad butt rock but they have some good tunes here and there
birb you should do this with old 2000s butt rock bands like staind, seether, godsmack etc...
Flat on floor And belive or not Are really good Nickelback songs
It's hard to try to argue in favor of Nickelback, simply because the people who don't Luke them have only heard the ones that are mainstream, and mainstream Nickelback songs suck ass. But the songs that aren't singles, that you'll only find lyric videos for or just the audio of, are the ones that slap. Side of a Bullet, Betrayal Act III, Must Be Nice, and This Means War are some of my favorite songs, but not one of them got radio play or anything.
#Nickelback4Life ❤❤❤❤❤
You need to listen to the covers that Villain of the Story made, their versions are awesome
I really liked Leader of Men off their album The State from 1999. Before they blew up, but it was basically the 1st song of theirs that got radio play. Most of their stuff after that wasn't as good imo.
The more I listen them the more I like it. Follow You Home or This Means War have cool riffs. Lyrics are cringe in some songs but I don't care about lyrics so much.
Albums after Here and Now... well, I will skip that part
haha this was a fun video .. i used to be a huge hater but now im indifferent. i think theyre better than stuff nowadays like imagine dragons. their song they did for Spiderman ("hero" i think its called?) was a banger
You should’ve tried For All The Wrong Reasons. It has a semi breakdown like section and even screaming. However, I (sadly) didn’t find a video of them playing it live because this part is actually the heaviest thing they’ve ever done.
lol! The reason they were hated was because of overexposure, for sure.
I still hate nickelback but they were arguably the biggest band going....
Would have they survived this era? Who knows!
Imho: Blame radio! 😭
Did you just skip dimebags solo?…
I honestly feel like Nickelback is one of those bands that you had to enjoy them in their peak and follow the ride to love them still. They are misjudged as the ballad band as they do have more actual rock/heavy near metal bangers than they do ballads at this point but ballads is what played on the radio and got them fame in the first place. Hence the "love to hate" aspect. Are they a perfect band? Hell no. There are some songs I even despise from them. I really only like Nickelback cause it is what I grew up on as a kid with my dad and it stuck with me. Sure I love my metalcore, deathcore, hardcore stuff now. But I still rock some dad rock/butt rock from time to time. You not being a fan of Nickelback growing up hindered the chances of you getting into them as you discovered better music like Protest The Hero and such. I can definitely see why people can't get into them now as WAY better music is out there. They are basically a "you had to be there" kind of band. I feel the same for Five Finger Death Punch as they were a gateway band for me into metal. I still like them but they are far from being my fav band now as my music taste has changed drastically. I love that a Nickelback hater such as yourself still gave them a shot, even though they failed to pull you in in the end. Most Nickelback haters won't even entertain the idea of giving them a shot cause they are all closed minded elitists. Much love, Birb. 🤘
Leader of Men, Thank me later.
Avril lavigne cover how you remind me btw😊
ive been a nickelback fan for 15 years basically since ive been into music, their las album is so bad bro
Too Bad is the best Nickelback song.
Every album is filled with a lot heavier songs than the ones you picked. They cover Pantera live. They play way heavier live. You picked the radio friendly stuff. Side of a Bullet? Never Again? Too Bad? Way more than that…
Watch the full video dude
REACT TO PURE - RED RIVER 🩸
Feed The Machine is my favorite album by them for sure. A few bangers and some interesting diversity.
I just can't stand most of their country-ish rock singles. Rockstar in particular is awful.
Nickelback is a great band 🤷sorry people love to hate commercial success 😂
Watching this and the Nickleback doco on Netflix and I am happy to conclude that they are still a bad band
Nickelback is an aquired taste
I grew up on them and I still bang their first 5 albums. Last 3 I’m torn on but I feel like as a 10 year old good start to start getting into metalish stuff they are so fun live. Flat on the floor is a fun opener to a album
