Beautiful bag! I Love Hermés Birkin, I have notice when I dress down carrying my Birkin, The bag will draw so much positive attention. 😅 Most people will approach me just to say they love the bag, it warms my heart 🥰. Speaking from my experience of using both Birkin vs Kelly, I prefer Birkin, it’s the most practical stress free bag for me, I get annoyed with the Kelly especially when I’m running errands, opening and closing it. But it is still a beautiful. Queen B is my go to bag all day everyday. 😊
I too much rather have people feel comfortable to approach me and compliment the bag than look like a snob who is unapproachable 😂. The B is very easy to use but right now I favour the Kelly as a mum who needs to often be hands-free. But that's the beauty of these 2 elusive Hermes bags we have options for what works for us but can still appreciate and love the latter of the favourite as well
I too always thought I would much rather the Kelly for the strap but I find the birkin much easier to use! Apparently totinng an open sac is more user friendly for me than a closed bag on my shoulder that I have to keep opening and closing 🤷🏻♀️ can’t say I see myself gettin rid of either though! In Kelly vs birkin I prefer both! 😂

I still think the Birkin is easier to use than the Kelly. Just because it’s always open and it’s a “grab-and-go” kind of bag than the Kelly where you constantly have to open and close it. Plus, the Kelly is hard to close. I guess the shoulder strap makes it easier to use, but if you’re on the go, it just doesn’t have the same functionality as a Birkin. I’d say the Kelly is perfect for parties or formal events or even traveling since most of the time you need your bag closed, while the Birkin is perfect for running errands or going around and need to constantly get in and out of your bag. Also, something to note: The original Birkin and the very few first Birkins made for Jane Birkin herself had a shoulder strap. Not sure why they removed the shoulder strap but it’s possible it’s because Jane Birkin herself never used a shoulder strap. Her original wicker basket bag was also just top handle/crook of the arm, she wasn’t into shoulder bags. But that’s just my personal theory.
Yes i seen that the original birkins had straps and even the vintage HACs. I agree the birkin is easier than the kelly definitely only reason i favour the kelly is because holding your kids hand or carrying them is so darn difficult without a shoulder bag lol but when it comes to ease of use just for errands or when i go visit family/friends i take my birkin. The Kelly i use when im with my daughter just me and her so i can give her both my arms lol or if i am going shopping and will be buying a decent amount and need both my hands/arms 😜

Leather conditioner and cleaners arent detectable on the leather. Sprays on the other hand i never recommend on leathers other than LV vachetta because they are detectable on the leather.
I love how relaxed you are about your hardware getting scratched. Watching how concerned people are about scratched hardware makes me feel like I'm way too careless. Maybe I should invest in HW stickers. I got my birkin in February and will post a 1st impressions video soon. Great review!
Yep im relaxed about it on B/K but on the constance i did find it annoying since large surface area. to my eye i found it could always see those scratches. But 100% if its something than really bothers u then you can get the stickers but just bare in mind they dont last long! When i was using mine on my b25 long ago and c24 i found they lasted me about 8weeks at the very most before they virtually were coming right off and looked yuck.
That’s what I’ve heard about the HW stickers and exactly why I haven’t bought them. However, when I watch reviews and listen to people harp on about not getting a single scratch on the hardware, I feel like I’m missing something since I’m so nonchalant about it. I just figure that in 10 years when my corners are worn and the HW is in terrible condition then I’ll send my bag in for a full service at the spa and until then I will enjoy it.

I had a samorga before for my Kelly 28 Togo trench and it left indentations in the leather over time it really can damage the leather. I now have a 7RP insert which I use to store the bag it's much better. I have asked them for a coupon code for my viewers and they thankfully granted a discount but I can't advertise the code until end of the month.
@@Purseonfleek Interesting thank you. Was this from storing the Samorga in it or just using the organizer in it? I never store my organizers inside as I’m afraid of fabric pulling in a musty or any other odor but did not think of them indenting just from daily use 😬
I just checked out the pillow case you suggested. Would you consider doing a bag organiser review next time. I’ve seen so many different brands including Hermes fourbi pouch. You don’t seem to use bag organiser but would you recommend them at all? Thanks Xx

I use @hermes_luxury_innerbag cos their premium inserts are made of satin and hold shape but dont deform the bag or leave any indentation. I actually only just got the organiser for my b30 recently before i filmed the video. But i definitely recommend them they arent cheap but they are less than 1/3 of the price of 7RP and do the same thing without compromising the integral structure and leather
I was offered both Berkin 30 and Kelly 28 sellier at the same appointment by my SA here in the US but I opted for the Berkin 30. I think it’s about having a good relationship with your SA
yes definitely about relationship. however i think the more demand at store and not enough stock means even with a good relationship it still can be hard!

But I agree that the pricing of b35 is so competitive and if you are not petite like me I think b35 is a great size bag. I think the only way you may regret getting b30 is if you don't like the weight of a b35. However this can be fixed if you stick with swift/Gulliver the weight would be equivalent if not less than that of a b30 Togo

Beautiful rghw! I'd love one with that hw one day. My birkin 30 i have taken it to dinner on multiple occasions because my daughter was with us so its more appropriate that way i can carry what i need. But otherwise i take it with me if im going shopping on my own, to go see family or if we are going out for lunch. I pretty much can always justify using my b30 but i favour my kelly 25 whenever its just my daughter and i (without my hubby with us) particularly when going shopping or running errands so i am handsfree

I use a mirrorless camera which is new camera technology providing the quality of a DSLR however it doesnt have an audio output. Furthermore i hardly ever have complaints about sound so when i have a majority audience saying there is a sound issue on my more recent videos then i may consider purchasing an additional seperate audio recording device.

I lightly stuff my bags as well. I think it prevents permanent creases and misshaped stretching! It’s beautiful and love the color!

Purseonfleek it is togo gold with palladium hw. It is amazing, but really matte leather, very unusual for me to the touch.

You can prevent the slouching of the bag by adding a bag organizer from Samorga. Trust me it solves the problem! 🤓

No not at all I try to avoid jeans but I have had colour transfer on one of my bags from mistakenly wearing some cheapo jeans recently lol
