That they had cast The Windsors' Prince Harry as one of the Newsnight producers was not a good omen. Also, why is it that creatives making tv dramas set in TV Land do it so very badly. Meanwhile, Gillian Anderson who I consider a good actress, is locked into a strike-a-pose rictus body outfit to become Emily Maitliss, just as they did with her Margaret Thatcher on The Crown. She's been rendered to a Terry Gilliam animation in which only the teeth move in a gotttle-of-geer stylie.

It wasn’t great tbh. Billie Piper was a wrong casting.
I don’t know how alike she is to the real Sam McAllister, but I thought she was the best thing in it.
My critical view of Scoop is that it is crap
