I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
Thanks for making this and sharing your experience. I'm dipping my toes into product/tabletop photography after having done a bit in the past for a company with a full studio, space and budget for set design, and a large closet of props. I built some backgrounds and like how the came out but the size and storage is problematic for my small space. I think getting some from each company and supplementing them with some homemade pieces could give me the best of both worlds.
You're welcome! Yeah I really like how my home made backgrounds looked, I think they look better than these boards, but it's just a space problem really. If I had a garage or a studio I could store things I would use those types of backboards more. A good mix and always trying new things is a great way to go! Good luck!
