We were in the midst of getting him help, it was sad and crushing to see him like that. We worked hard for recovery. It’s called being a human being. He got better. Thank goodness.

You'd see more reports of her dropping off the map or withdrawing or you'd see someone seriously self medicating to sustain the illusion. However I agree, I felt they could have been more prying and critical, especially as her testimony is full of so many gaps and tenuous and unsubstantiated assertions. Actually, the long answers parts were PERFECT fot Depp’s team. A cross-examination usually requires you to answer a yes-no question, and they might throw in some open-ended questions here and there so. So her giving extra answers after a yes-no question works in favor of Johnny’s teams, since a liar is usually eager to defend their lies and provide more information.. thinking that will make them more believable. So her defensiveness is enough for the jury to see how biased she was in her “evaluation”.

Because then we will own a good sharp knife in the household and that scares her. There was something about this session that was different about her expressions. I heard from Emily D Baker’s channel that that may be a strategy as jury’s tend to go against overly aggressive legal teams. However I agree, I felt they could have been more prying and critical, especially as her testimony is full of so many gaps and tenuous and unsubstantiated assertions. For example as someone else in the chat pointed out, she was hardly isolated given the fact that he moved in a group of her closest friends into their home.
Actually, the long answers parts were PERFECT fot Depp’s team. A cross-examination usually requires you to answer a yes-no question, and they might throw in some open-ended questions here and there so. So her giving extra answers after a yes-no question works in favor of Johnny’s teams, since a liar is usually eager to defend their lies and provide more information.. thinking that will make them more believable. So her defensiveness is enough for the jury to see how biased she was in her “evaluation”.
This piece of evidence (the knife) is devastating. I can't imagine a single woman who is fearful of her "violent" husband that would provide him with a knife. To me this is it. She was never afraid of him because he was many thing but a violent husband.
And she's terrified of him and sheets on his side of the bed? In all the things I've listen to of her testimony she's just this innocent little fly on the wall and Johnny for no good reason goes into a rage. She'd be more credible is she didn't overplay the victim. She really wants this to be a tv movie.

my mother was a victim of DV and every time someone in the family would say that we need a new kitchen knife, she'd say no. Because then we will own a good sharp knife in the household and that scares her. So to me, this entire thing doesn't make sense. the thought of something sharp and can be weaponised shouldn't be a gift idea for a victim to their abuser.

This psychologist failed to fill out the assessment accurately, took the subjective word of her therapist that she agreed with, did not agree with the medical doctor or the nurse so didn't use those records. Then she stated that she never met JD? Wow, the standards for practice are ironically low and contrived to fit her own hidden agenda.
