Ali while healing should've looked at Norton's record and fought Jose Luis Garcia the only man until (Ali himself in September and Foreman in March of next year) to beat Ken Norton around July of 1973 as a tune up for the Norton rematch and Ali would've given Norton some serious doubts of doubling down if he saw him stopping his sole conqueror prior to the Ali rematch and may have made the fight much easier for him also fighting and defeating Garcia would've decreased the pressure on Muhammad Ali going into the Ken Norton rematch as he would've beaten another top 10 contender as Garcia was one by this time so Ali's credibility wouldn't have been questioned also he wouldn't have been going into a do or die fight which if he lost is the end of his career but rather a very important fight that he has to win for the sake of his chances at a rematch with Joe Frazier and his title aspirations against George Foreman now knowing Ali being a master of mind games and a brilliant strategist I'm shocked he let this opportunity of sending a message to Ken Norton pass him by like that Besides a Muhammad Ali vs Jose Luis Garcia fight in July of 1973 would've been good before Ali knocks him out somewhere between the 3rd and the 6th
Ali was the clear winner in the 2nd Norton match ,it was. A close fight but Ali scored more clean and Norton was spent at the end of the fight .,if it where 15 Ali might have stopped him.
TOP 10 Heavyweights in 1973 - what they all had in common? Ali fought them all. That's how you become the greatest - by fighting the best. And many of them more than once, I might add.
Great upload as usual. What really surprises me is the amount of activity these guys had in the 70s. Most ranked boxers of today aren’t fighting more than twice in a year. I’m pretty sure there’s reasons to explain this, which might involve the amount they probably weren’t getting paid, they attempts to not be rusty, amongst other reasons. Fight fans in that time should be happy with those amount of fights.
Hey champ, sorry this was late for you. The videos originally came out in chronological order, but I had to re-upload this due to copyright. Hoping it stays cool and the supercut should be coming soon. On the money, these guys were FIGHTING. Period. Look how desperate Muhammad Ali was to get back to the title! Someone who was already champ and didn't need it again, but in his mind he did and he wanted to be the GREATEST. He became just that.

Frazier was 29-0 not 19-0 when he fought Foreman
