Russell I am interested in knowing more about slide film, when projected on a clear plain wall with the curtains closed and the lights turned off, what aspect ratio are the photos displayed on the wall when using a slide projector.
Most slides are 3:2 but some were1:1. Also consider that most are landscape but some may be portrait. I don't use the projector to photograph slides. I usually photograph the emulsion side of the slides lit by a white pc monitor screen placed about 15cm behind the slide. I then horizontally flip the image, crop and colour balance it to suit the image.
