I recommend reading the infernal devices first !! At least before city of heavenly fir which is the last book in the mortal instruments..

I think it's so dang sweet how willing he is to 1. Be in the video and 2. Pick books for you. Some guys (not all) show no interest in their woman's hobbies or make fun of it. Chris seems like a cool guy. And this video was so fun to watch.
It is so true that once you start reading fantasy romance, normal romance becomes meh. Or at least a palette cleanser in-between my other main books

This is such a good selection! The best way to read cassandra clare books is the order she suggests, you can find it online, but starts off with.. city of bones, city of ashes, city of glass, then, clockwork angel, cw prince, cw princess, then, city of fallen angels, city of lost souls, city of heavenly fire.... the order she suggests allows no spoilers as the worlds cross over quite a bit
I’ve read heartless three times I LOVE it. Marissa Meyer is a great writer, her books gilded and cursed are good too
I’m so freaking excited for you to read The Mortal Instruments. You’ve definitely started in the right place. I’d recommend publication order for Cassandra Clare books. You get the most out of the series that way. I didn’t get some references reading all 6 The Mortal Instruments books before starting The Infernal Devices. Google is your best friend for these book orders and I’d definitely recommend reading the side books too. They add a lot

Hey Sara! i have been reading a book series that is fantasy romance and I am obsessed! The Crave series by Tracy Wolff! The books are sooooo good and get better and better as you get more connected to the characters!
Sara so disappointed that he didn't chose the ones that she wanted was funny and he choosing only by the cover, that's me, I never read the synopses 😅 and after he said "make you read star wars", now I know he's a good man for Sara 😂❤
the mortal instruments (city of bones) was released first if i’m not mistaken but the infernal devices (the clockwork books) take place before the mortal instruments. i read mortal instruments first but i don’t think it matters that much
I really liked holding up the universe!! It gave me a new perspective on people.
The fact the he said no so hard to Heartless literally broke my heart!!! It is one of my all time favorite book! It's a phenomenal read and you should just break the rules and read it anyway 😂

I LOVE the Witcher books but Blood of Elves is technically the third book as there are 2 short story collections that come before it which sets up the world, introduces the characters and sets up the magic system (kinda like a prequel). “Blood of Elves” is the first novel of the series if that makes sense…So the author writes ‘blood of elves’ kinda presuming the reader has already read the first two and already has a rough idea of what’s going on. You can still read ‘Blood of Elves’ first, but I did find it helped to read the short stories first! If your interested the first one is called ‘The Last Wish’ and the second is ‘Sword of Destiny’. Happy reading! ❤
(Also the covers you have in US are so much nicer than the ones we have in the UK!)

if u like marissa meyer or want a book recommendation, the renegades series by her is a great sci-fi ish book. actual enemies to lovers, character building, romance is the subplot but the best part. it’s just so good, major recommendation of mine!

the blood of elves (witcher book) is the official first book but there are 2 prequel bind-ups of short stories called the last wish & the sword of destiny that it's recommended you read first!
I just finished This Woven Kingdom. It was so good!!!! I hope you enjoy it too when you read it!!! The writing style was different, but Tahereh's voice remained the same. (Some people said that it was slow, but I flew through it so...🤷🏾♀)

When you get to The mortal instruments series I would read the first 3 of those and then pick up infernal devices. You can read all 3 infernal devices before finishing the mortal instruments (probably what I would do) or you can read the first infernal devices and the alternate until you finish both. I am reading the shadowhunters universe right now and I wished I would've done it that way. But I still enjoyed both series!
Hey! I highly recommend „The Woman Destroyed“ by Simone De Beauvoir. I think you’d really like her writing. It’s quick and to the point but she manages to create a beautiful atmosphere.

No way!! I love that you’re gonna read ninth house!! I just finished the second one in the trilogy and I gave them both 5 stars!! Fair warning there’s not a lot of romance and it is considered dark fantasy (search tws)!! It’s pretty dense with a lot of information but it’s truly the most unique book I’ve ever read and it’s my favorite of all time!!

You should really read throne of glass! But before it you should definitely read assassins blade. It’s sort of a book 0.5 with little novellas of background info!

From what I've heard the first Witcher book is hard for most people to get through most people say it's easier to listen to the audiobooks of the first two books and then read the rest but they are important for understanding the characters. The show was so good but I haven't read it yet because of that.
You definitely have to read Heartless. I read it a week ago and I couldn’t stop listening to Jonah Baker’s cover on Justin Bieber’s song, Ghost. It’ll definitely leave you heartless.

For Witcher I'd recommend checking the reading order online. There's two books that come before Blood of Elves. I think it's fine to start with Blood of Elves but it might be a bit confusing.
The Witcher is soooooo good! Only down side is it’s hard to get into! 😅 serpent and the wings of night is a 10/10!
I love The Witcher, it's highly recommended to start with The Last Wish then Sword of Destiny and then the rest in order

OMG someone is reading the witcher!! This is probably my favorite franchise between the books, games, and shows. It's funny that you decided to jump into the 3rd book of the series, but hopefully you'll like it! It really did not pick up for me into a bit further in because its HIGH fantasy, but man I love the main 3 characters so much.
