Mark Bradford, Art + Practice

Artist Mark Bradford has an eye for seeing beauty in the communities he works in. Even with his art now recognized around the world, he continues to be inspired by the South LA community that he knows and loves.
On the same street where he once worked, he co-founded Art + Practice, an art exhibition space that gives the community free access to contemporary artists, as well as a space for locals to gather, learn, and share. Mark and Art + Practice are just one of the many voices featured in The Dream Show: A Salute to South LA.
The Dream Show: A Salute to South LA was produced by the MLK Community Healthcare (MLKCH) to honor the vibrancy, diversity, and resiliency of our community. MLKCH is an award-winning provider of health services to the medically underserved community of South LA. Our vision is a high-quality continuum of preventive, specialty, emergency and palliative care that promotes lifelong health and wellness in South LA.
