UPDATE: The comments have convinced me to put Earthbound Immortals/Malefics back on the wheel!
I think that giving the player 1 copy of each of the Malefics would make the pack playable, and of course I want to showcase as many themes as possible
honestly just give the person running the pack 1 copy of each non malefic counter part so they can summon the malefix and since they get one free craft they basically have to use it on malefic world
Yeah like if they get malefic blue eyes they can just add the malefic blue eyes etc
I seem to recall doug saying no one in the comments was clamoring for earthbound immortals back... because he hadn't uploaded the video yet.
malefics are unplayable, you need the continuous spell and all of the non malefic versions of the monsters to play it and mbt is coreect you need a fs to play ebs
the continuous spell is not needed to be playable, they get minimum 1 free field spell with their craft and as i said give them the none malefic counter parts to the malefics they pull so if they pull malefic star dust they just get a stardust craft everything else in a sealed format isnt 100-% need it just helpful

Watching mbt spin his wheels for 20 minutes to accomplish absolutely nothing is an incredibly accurate representation of the average flower cardian experience.
My goal at one point in my FC combo is to Gold Moon Coin Maxx C. Ideally, before they figure out what I'm doing.
In game 1 he could have searched a tuner to hand instead of summoning willow to field and he would have been able to make any synchro and keep going
The first time I had ever played against the deck, I realized that there was nothing to be afraid of because they did more than any other deck and still ended with not a single threatening card
Honestly this episode proves how mbt is better in roulette due to his knowledge of so many decks most yugioh players simply refuse to even read. I'm geniunely glad we got to see flower cardian when decently piloted

I think the Malefic pack is playable PROVIDED that whomever opens it get 1-2 copies of the originals. But maybe forbid the actual summoning of OG Stardust if thats maybe too powerful, iunno, i think that pack needs help personally lmao
It's in a tricky spot because while the pack is unplayable as-is, if you gave the player even one of every target I think that might be too good and/or not exactly in the spirit of sealed play
It's on my list of discarded packs that I'm trying to make work 😅

@@Dzeeffhonestly even if the malefic side was resolved, it wouldn't change the fact that the Earthbound Immortal half is still pretty dead without reliable access to a field spell. imagine how much better it would be if Mausoleum were an include lol
What about they get the og if they pull the malefic.
@@gameshocks78 this might be the only way to solve that side of the pack, if you pull a blue eyes you get 1 og and so on but still you might end up with a hand of some earthbound bullshit and then the og that you cant summon so its kinda bad
Maybe a system to allow for crafts - you could dust your duplicates and craft anything "thematic" to the seeker pack? Keeps the value a little bit within the randomness of sealed, but get better access to those N's and R's from og packs@@Dzeeff
I like how MBT came back to the series being all like "there are so many playable packs left" and every pack he's rolled he's said was unplayable

You know, if Flower Cardians had even ONE genuinely great thing to do with all the advantage they generate, half their cards would have been banned years ago.
Man, as a Flower Cardian player, some of MBTs plays hurt in my soul… He needed a tuner, got into the position to search a tuner and proceeds to special summon a non-tuner from deck, filling up his board.
I feel you though my guess is he didn't read the second part of the searcher that allows u to add from deck and thought it was a special only
There were so many times he could tributed off zebra grass then recardination to bring it back, it hurt me so badly i swear

I am also a massive Flower Cardian fan. Joseph got it so good off that trade offer. Willow and Zebra Grass are so so important
you can do the ruling of giving the required monsters for the deck to function but make it you get the cards correspondent to what malefics are pulled. and also give the earthbound field spell if needed since only one field is in the pack.
fun fact: every episode of master saga and roulette someone gets Flower Cardian Zebra Grass with Moon
i like how there is this big over the top super loud summoning animation and then you just summon a binki 100 atk flower cardian
I honestly think trade offers make the episodes more fun. It also makes some packs more playable, which is more fun.
This video single-handedly makes me want to run Flower Cardians.

arc rebellion in sealed environment is insane, card is indestructible by card effects and gains a bunch of attack. 2 level 4s (or 2 level 3s if you can destroy something with breaksword) is all it takes to make it
I think you guys should make an episode where you both play the unplayable packs. Maybe even pull from a few sets each at the normal ammount
As far as I know, all the unplayable decks will be used when the normal ones end.
Make a series where the decks are entirely built via trade offers

The deal they actually agreed to was Doug gets 1 N, 1R, and MBT got the 3 Ns he wanted. Not four, and not only the R either. @14:38
It was later changed to 4N and 1R +2N. It was after that was said that mbt said the words "Ill take that deal"

The trade offers seem against the "spirit" of the show but its so entertaining to watch you guys negotiate blind theyre great
i feel like after the wheel is done you do all the "unplayable" ones and give them some cards to make them kinda work. like the earthbound pack give them some bad fieldspell to use etc.

as the only Flower Cardian player. Im happy for this episode. thing with cardians is that it does nothing but takes a amazing pilot to do things with it. you can keep doing things and it have no impact if you dont know how the deck works

Flower Cardian is one of my all time favorite decks, I hope they get support one day. Sure its a Solitaire deck, but you either "win", or make yourself lose so I always find it amazing to watch others play.

As a flower cardian fan who knows how RNG the deck is, Joseph did not play it the best, he could elect to add instead of summon off his key effect. But then again the UI does not help.

I am the one flower cardian player. MBT had soooo many ways to get to a tuner game one, and threw game two as he had another way to boar.
Cherry blossom can add from deck or special from deck, its just master duel makes you answer 'no' to special from deck first.

I would give them the nonmalefic version of each malefic monster they pull equal to the amount they pull and like as many of umi or yami or the bad lob field spells they want to craft maybe or 3 copies of chicken game

Put the unplayable packs on their own wheel and play through them at the end!! Then it's unplayable vs unplayable. The unplayability balances out.
You should take out every unplayable/almost unplayable pack out and in the end when all of the at least playableish packs are out make wheel that includes every unplayable pack and let those face eachother (or do roulette spinoff with all of the unplayable packs or something). Or keep the unplayable packs in the wheel but if you or mbt first picks unplayable pack (and keeps it) the wheel is swapped to the unplayable one where the other gets their pack from there?

If you guys ever play the unplayable packs, have a rule that is like each person gets 2 different packs. That way it would be 40 pulls in total, 20 for each unplayable back. Maybe by doing this something can be scrounged together?

It's because willow with calligrapher uses it's effect to make the other cardians level 2 for a synchro summon otherwise you can't make anything, and it's effects were negated by koi koi

As someone who plays Flower Cardian in real life, I can tell you my secret. I beat Branded at a locals because my first turn in Game 1 lasted literally over 30 minutes and I won with burn.

I love playing flower cardian. Its a weak deck but its fun against maxx c or when you get ash'd. Because nothing can stop you except specific cards like skill drain or necro valley.

Oh, come on. Put the Malefic/Earthbound pack back on the wheel. One of you can go into it, pull terribly, and still somehow win by looping the Sun and Moon Dragon synchros. It's not a good strategy, but crazier things have happened in this series.

The only time I played against cardian i just summoned Dark law game 1 and game two and they scooped so i still have yet to read any other the cards

Bro actaully fumbled the flower cardian plays
So technically Malefic in that pack are playable due to Paradox Gear (Rare), but it also kind of limits the Malefic player to 3 summons which can be a little rough. But at the same time, if you aren't beating your opponent with the 3 malefic beaters, you probably aren't winning regardless.
So it could be balanced by whoever plays it gets to have 3 Paradox/3 Parallel, that way they at least have a chance to summon whatever monster they pull from the pack

@@nappyfrog Yeah... the malefics aren't good normally. Like better when you have the extra deck cards, but even then, you are usually looking for Paradox to start your whole gameplay.

there is a line
set shade brig, summon, ss boots, ns armor
armor and brig into raiders knight, detach armor to rank up into arc
use armor grave effect to pitch cloak and draw, use cloak in grave to search raiders wing (always treated as TPK card)
detach shade brig from arc to ss wing, wing and boots into break sword
activate arc to gain attack of everything on field by detaching its last mat, which makes it NOT negate effects on resolution (+1000/2000/2000 for a total of 8k)
BP, summon Juragedo, tribute to gain 1k and swing for game over the 1k cardian
extremely hard to see line, can't blame doug, took me like 20-30 minutes to figure out
