    I never knew that wood smoke could actually be good for the plants around it. That's incredible.

      Do not mix an alkaline pesticide with a wood vinegar you will get a very bad reaction.

    Bamboo vinger will reduce the amount of fungi in the soil but it can be used to build a engineered agricultural system in Puerto Rico

      In very high dilution it will actually stimulate biology not reduce it...

      michael wittman I would assume the reason he says this is that it would cause a temporary bacterial domination over the fungi. The fungi will most likely bounce back much healthier though as wood/browns is their main food source in the soil. I’m no scientist but that’s my theory

    It can be used to be mixed in the soil to create wood chip agricultural system that is a filtration system

    Thank you for the information here. I found your video through one of Matt Powers podcast & my wife & I are considering making a purchase.. but I would like to see more information on your surfactant. You mention that you would get into this later but I couldn't find any of your videos where this is described in more detail, thank you.

    Can it be used as soil drench for nematodes? What is the dilution for soil preparation before planting, vs soil with plants in it? Thank you

      The Bamboo vinegar itself has a very long shelf life but once you mix it it should be used within a week.

    I have a huge Korean succulent collection. Do you know if the bamboo vinegar can increase anthocyanin content in the leaves if succulents and increase colors ? I ask this because a Korean woman made a video in which she uses a spray made of water and what she calls pyroligneous liquor( I'm sure it's wood vinegar ) . She says the spray cools the succulents at night and increases color . I also see bottles of what looks like wood vinegar for sale on Korean sites . They manage to get colors that I can't seem to keep . I'm hoping the wood vinegar may be their secret . Thank you 😊

      Yes it is Bamboo wood Vinegar, I use it in conjunction with Hyperdrive which makes it work even better by taking it into the cell structure of the plant directly and the results are quick and enhanced. It will bring out the color and enhance a healthier growth...

    Hi there. I was wondering what your thoughts are about using the bamboo wood vinegar on roses to help prevent fungal disease? I am up in the PNW and my roses struggled last year with black spot, aphids, etc. Thanks, Marcie

    • @bluesky-biochar
      @bluesky-biochar  4 роки тому +5

      Yes it works really well for fungal issues on most all plants, use a surfactant such as a soap or what I use which works incredibly well is Hyperdrive a sophisticated surfactant/ catalyst which you can find here, blueskybiochar.com/products/copy-of-hyperdrive-tm
