Ageratum? I never saw those before. They look like puffy phlox. We are praying for them. Our church just sent a ton of things trucked to the east coast with blankets, every kind of food and needful things. We are ready to give another ton of stuff along with other churches from all faiths are giving great bundles of emergency supplies. We cannot bring back lost lives. But we are trying to help. What if all the big cities were like the east coast states. God likes to show off. We have to give God the Glory.
The planet is warming even if you don't believe it. Mike and I were up north in the canyon and we heard this great blast of a horn. I thought it was a horn but Mike thought it was a train. Where up there are there any trains? Not in Walnut Canyon. No way. It happened again. We walked back to the observation room and asked a matron there what that blast of a horn was. She told us it was the giant condors they come and stay there in the fall. Going down to S America. I had NEVER heard a condor cry before. We looked at each other and said that was a bird? Yes. She said they hear them while they roost in the canyon. The way the canyon formed produces an echo chamber effect. So while sitting there we waited but that was the only time we heard it. Imagine Mike and I and Lexi sitting there thinking we heard the Trumpet of the Lord. LOL
God made incredible creatures. Sometimes it seems that we try to mimic God's sounds. A train horn sounds a lot like a wild condor but throatier. God bless you sister Bev. You are my first stop everyday. I love you so much. GBY.

Oh what imagery you gave me! I cannot imagine a bird sounding like a train horn! Yes! You may be on to something ~ God could surely use His creatures to announce His coming! First there is the trumpet/Condor then the Lion, the Ox, the Sheep ~ and then there is Jesus beside God! Thanks to you and your church for your great humanitarian efforts to those in need! May God bless you all mightily for your great serving Him and entertaining angels! Yes, the ageratums are sometimes called blue mist flowers. They are very hardy and pretty deer-resistant and drought hardy and a late pollinator. I have started some ageratum in my garden in the field. I am working hard to make that a go-to place for devotions. It will take time, but maybe if Jesus doesn't come back before next year, we will have a new place to go. When I accidentally pull something up, off I go to the garden in the field to plop it down. I've got some different things, hopefully, but I would rather Jesus come back instead! Your condor imagery is incredible, sister! I will have to see if I can find that on the internet! i have got to hear it! God bless you, Sister! I love you! And God bless you for always visiting and supporting the joy of His Word in my little corner of His world! Love you!

I found one on the internet ~ I don't know what the condor was doing, but it sounded just like a train going down the tracks and a steam release ~ incredible. God bless you! Love you!

@@ATouchOfTheSun I often think about our gathering and the world. Suppose you were live in the garden and someone was watching. Suddenly you disappear. They wait, thinking something happened to your phone or the medium they are watching. But then they would find out millions of men, women and ALL children would just be gone in an instant. I know parents will be horrified. What do you think the world would say?

@@JJDigitalartStudio Well, I think immediately, God will start serving up the tribulations as we have read about and understand. I am not sure they would have much time to recover from their confusion and surprise before things started happening to add to their dismay. Imagine if they were used to someone serving *them* and now they are gone and they don't have a clue as to how to live life independently. Well, maybe some would start hitting their knees and praying at that point, but it will be a very tough road for them. I like your thinking and making it closer to reality, sister! Jesus, we are watching for You! Come, Lord Jesus, Come!
