    Event Information
    The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department invites you to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view the 2024 total solar eclipse in Kerrville, Texas! The Kerrville Eclipse Festival will occur in Louise Hays Park on Monday, April 8, 2024. Join us in the heart of the Hill Country to view and celebrate the 2024 total solar eclipse - just a few miles from the center line of totality. This FREE event will include scientific speakers from NASA, live music from Judah and the Lion, children's programming, and 4 minutes and 25 seconds of totality. Space in the event area cannot be reserved and you will not need a ticket to enter. Limited off-site parking will be available to reserve ahead of the eclipse for a fee.     See the sun, stay for the totality of our event!
    Stick around for a stellar time! For the safety of both visitors and locals, Kerrville Eclipse Festival asks that attendees make plans to enjoy additional entertainment on the festival grounds after the eclipse. We have out-of-this-world acts lined up for the evening, so do your part by dancing a little longer as local officials keep traffic moving.

    We look forward to welcoming 20 food, treat, and beverage vendors and a dozen product vendors into Louise Hays Park for the Kerrville Eclipse Festival! Outside food is welcome and encouraged!
    Free Event Parking
    Limited, free parking will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis in the Parking Garage at 201 Clay St. in Downtown Kerrville. The Parking Garage is open 24/7. Overnight camping inside the parking garage is strictly prohibited. The parking lot at the Butt Holdsworth Memorial Library, 505 Water St., will have limited free first-come-first-serve accessible parking spots available to the public. You must have a state-issued person with disabilities plate or placard to park in an accessible parking space. Parking along the road is not allowed.
