I lost my daughter to fentanyl poisoning 9/16/21. I have spent my whole Christian walk praying for deliverance from bondage to whiskey and drugs. I have a surviving daughter and son and grandson and my husband. My son recently got sober and we are all attending a four square church in town. I miss my daughter so much. Yet I know. The unity in Christ that we have today would not have happened without this great loss. Please pray for us as we approach her birthday in May. She was 32 when God freed her from her bondage. Her last journal entries were to God. Asking Him for mercy.
Please pray for me and my children. I want to give up! But I will continue to trust God! Having faith even in my time of despair. I lost my job because I refused the vaccine. I refused due to my already failing health. Heart disease and lupus. I’m on a ton of medications already. Including blood thinners. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to provide for myself and my two autistic children both are non verbal. I’m so overwhelmed because they are special needs. My husband passed away three years ago so I’m all alone. My situation already has me down, and depressed. I have been called horrible names and mocked because of my circumstances. This month me and my boys are facing homelessness if I can’t come up with the rest of the rent. Every month is a struggle. But I have so much faith that God will provide for me and my children in Jesus name. FAITH OVER FEAR! God hears our prayers so please pray for me.

I'm praying for you now Kathy and hoping you're doing better. One thing a wise older man in our congregation once said which I've found to be true (maybe it might help you too) is that when we're feeling lost and finding it hard to pray it's a time to start praising God even in word and song. He said little by little when he does that he always finds that he starts seeing his way forward and feeling better. It reminded me of when Paul and Silas were in prison and they got to praising God so much that all the prison doors opened. Be Well. And may God bless and keep you always in the palm of his hand and close to his heart.

Gigi .. anxiety will beat a path to your door every day ( and night) ...if you open the door and let it in, it will come more and more often...so try to ignore it and not open the door...tell it you're busy enjoying yourself and focus on something that brings you joy. I'm trying to say that anxiety won't go away ...but we can change how we react...not easy , I know.

Popsicles!!! When you get the overwhelming urge to put a cigarette in your mouth, lick a popsicle. It gives your mouth and hands some thing to do sort of like cigarette smoking and helps the urge go away. If it gets really bad, sniff an ashtray To remind yourself this is how your breath, hands, and clothes and hair used to smell.
@@vickiemouse236 Plan B: sugar-free lollipops. You don’t have to eat the whole thing, just suck on it for a few minutes until the urge passes for a cigarette. Wrap it up and use it for later. Also don’t eat too many of them because too much of the sorbitol in them can give you diarrhea.

I wish prayers were answered this quickly and efficiently and obviously. I know of a lot of times when Jesus appeared and answered even before he was asked, provided a solution to a problem I didn’t even know was there. But other times, the things I pray for, sometimes for decades, don’t happen, don’t improve - they just get worse. Then I just don’t understand and I think I know Jesus and then I think I don’t.
I understand how you feel. I am feeling the same way today. I feel like he he is teaching me to trust him more but most of the time I feel like I am failing at it.
Lord, heal my leg and my foot/heel. And help me to lose weight so I can heal better.
