david was by far my favorite, super smart and figured the house out. kemi was also great because she kept it real in the house. its sad they went so quick. if u noticed camp comeback had only minority’s. it makes me want to stop watching honestly
Lavada bell really cuz historically the black women on the show always make it pretty far. Also with the way the media is pushing this woke agenda of they could have more black people they would. Many people try out for BB 10’s of thousands every year u ever think that many they just aren’t a fit for the show. Yes BB is a reality TV show but u have to be able to act also. I was on a reality TV show with my girl and out of the 2 weeks we shot and the 4 episode that aired I was only in 1 of the episodes for less then a minute.

The fact that Jess, a Latina woman, is acknowledging her privilege, being a light-skinned, white passing POC (even though I don’t really think she’s white passing), is amazing. Colorism is a real thing in minority communities, and I’m glad she sees that and is aware.

The casting directors should had been fired for the first time it happens but stay working at the company for years after it continues.. It’s a competition that has a social component where minorities are not given a even and level playing field. Immediately isolated as social outcast because majority of the cast is white and share the same values. We have seen this happen more than once where they gang up and terrorize other houseguest and it’s deemed as just gameplay until it is geared toward another white houseguest (i.e. jessica ) and now everyone is outraged and the behavior shouldn’t be tolerated. We( African Americans and other minority’s) continue to audition and play to change the narrative. We want to be included and prove that we are not the aggressors. We are not the problem the network and casted houseguest are the issue.

First white person was out eighth, meaning that if BB did the same racial breakdown, ALL whites would make it to jury and there would be almost no blacks or hispanics. You’d cry harder than you are now. This is solely based on data from survivor. Does anyone have data that backs up a counter point?
The Ogre that was also different as survivor they were competing in teams and were forced to align with their races... I think it would definitely change as big brother doesn’t have teams and people would intermix their relations not sticking solely to their race. That being said I don’t think that survivor season can be viewed the same as the formats are very very different

Yeah it's not really hard to miss that every season, the majority of the cast is white. And I like the fact that the cast members tend to have very...I guess big? personalities, but when then we find out they're discriminating against other castmates, the season turns gross to me. I ALSO noticed that, even though this particular vid didn't highlight it, but when other cast members would talk about Kemi, they'd make her out to be this horrible, threatening monster, and looking at the white males who have 10x worse personalities, they're looked at as "strong players" who don't really think with their emotions. I hope I'm wording this right, but it was like because Kemi wasn't hanging on those "alpha" males, they saw her as a threat immediately, and I personally feel like her skin color was part of their bias. They hardly knew this girl but they had more to say about her than anyone else.

as a new season comes on, i really hoped they all learned from this season... new cast and producers. from my 7 years of watching big brother, its been the same type of casting especially when it comes to minorities: 2 black, 1 asian, 1 lgbt, 1 hispanic/latino/spanish decent and if we're lucky we get all of these in one season.

As a former super fan of Big Brother, I've been making this argument for years. Josh is the only person of color I remember winning (non-celebrity) seasons of Big Brother. The chances are stacked against them. Cultural and physical connections are important in this game. Familiarity and comfort is also important in this game. Subconsciously, we feel safer, comfortable, and more familiar around those that look like us or might live next to us. That's why Black and Brown people feel more comfortable around each other. Whites feel more comfortable around each other, and if they had to choose a minority to fit with them, it'll most likely be Asians.
David is just so intelligent like it’s such a shame he was evicted first.

I've watch Big Brother since season one, and this season I haven't watched at all because I'm over it. The racist season from a few seasons back, disgusted me. To see that the show just still hasn't changed, I'm finally done. I used to love this show and loved the cast and game players and twists, but now...ugh.

I hate racism. Hate is a strong word, but I will use it here. I'm white, and there are times I get so angry and ashamed of other white people for being such pig-headed fools about race, like it actually defines who a person is.
I'm very sad/upset that David, Kemi and Ovi got kicked so early on. It really bothers me that, even on this show, the racism of the world is rampant.
People have argued it's not a racial issue, that people shouldn't play that card so often, but let's face it: racism is still very real in our society, no matter how much we claim to be oh so enlightened.
There is a clip of Jack saying the n word, and the first three to go were not white. It's wrong on way too many levels, and CBS needs to step up their diversity.

We only see what is cut . We need the whole story befor judge. Maybe if we saw the part deleted, we might evicted people not based on color of skins. Remember the one that are ejected had a chance to be HOH ,put others up. Some even said who they wanted up and it was the people that put them up. So reversible would we still call racist
